Awsome set up, I use my 2016 Sierra Denali 2500HD to pull my 8x16 enclosed trailer. I got a great deal. Love the 6.6 Duramax and allison transmission combo. All trucks are work horses, just goes down tor preference.
Try a Chevy or gmc 3500 hd single wheel or 2500hd with the duramax and pull a full load of mulch in the dump trailer and see how it handles can't hurt to try something new see if they have one with cameras so you can try hitching up without anyone helping you I don't know if your Ford came with that feature or not but would be nice in the line of work you are in love to see the work you have put in over 10 years always nice to see what you started from to keep you motivated the sky is the limit for growth and success keep up the good work my ninja

The problem with the 90r is that stihl puts a filter on all of their mufflers. Whenever equipment looses power it’s due to that filter being plugged up with junk. We remove all the filters on the stihl equipment and haven’t had problems since. Stihl for life tho lol
I’m sticking with Echo for all my outdoor power equipment but I’m a spec guy & always want the highest CC or HP & no company has the highest power for each category of power equipment, for instance stihl has the most powerful switchable attachment head trimmer but echo has highest power blower. All in all I’m echo as I don’t want all different brands of equipment & if something goes wrong you have to go to different dealers ect.
Hey Nick with the stihl weed trimmer that you got back from the shop, have you tried tuning the carb or tuning the throttle on the weed trimmer. Try that out to see if it will give it a little bit more power.
On the stihl weed eater that u just got back from the shop the one that’s bogging down but still running it’s probably the spark arrestor screen on the the muffler\exhaust if u take it out try to run it without it if it starts running normally u just need to clean the screen especially if it’s clogged up or just buy a new! I had the same problem with my stihl weed eater and cleaning the spark arrestor screen fixed mine from bogging down and started to run like normal
I have a v ride 52. At 1.3 hours a spindle went bad and they replaced it right then. At 23 hours another spindle went bad, and not only did they replace it. The replaced the 3rd spindle just in case it was going to go out too. I've heard a few bad things about scag warranties, but for me mines been more than great
Nick, YES!!! No matter what brand of truck you love I'm a dodge guy myself & I would do It. A free fully loaded truck is like 60-70k. Put you pride & loyalty aside & say yes to Chevy that's one offer you can't pass up do it man do it
I wouldn’t recommend going to Stihl blowers! I had used the Stihl 600 for years went to the Echo PB770 and I want go back to the BR600 also run the Husqvarna 580 for my big boy blower in the fall.
hey nick, I use a stihl fs410 (the one with the bars, so no edging unless you want to look like a fool) great bit of kit however, when they changed over to the 4 stroke mix engines they have a tendency to cough and splutter if going around fragile stuff at half revs for any amount of time. dam pain in the ass as you have to rev the bastard to 100% for a few seconds which people tend to look at you with the "whats your problem" look.... also as the tuning is electronic now you cant tweek anything... other than that, they start every time (or on 3rd pull but every time!). I'm a massive stihl fan and would buy it over anything else as the aftermarket service is second to none. but I do think they company has gone in the wrong direction on the new power units, its like they are forcing people to want the cordless Li battery stuff, which I have had the opportunity to use, the 3000 m/h battery weighs a small moon but it keeps you going all day, super super quiet and very very light as the battery is on a backpack. the blower is as powerful as any stihl petrol blower exc the br600 which is a monster and your probably blow the battery that weighs a small moon! the strimmer is awesome, not a big fan of the heads as they have a big ass butt on them so you start to tilt and tiger strip or ground out.
Check out the Chevy you won’t regret it nick! I’ve drove all of the trucks. Ford, dodge, Chevy and gmc. The new Chevy Silverado’s are amazing trucks! They have So much power and features in them but even better they drive like a sports car!

QUESTION when did you do the first oil changes on your wrights. we have a john deere stander and its the same as a wright just badge engineered and it says chage at 10 hrs and we called john deere and they said change it at 50 I don't trust that personally so we changed it at like 10
Nick your scared you won’t go back to the fords!! I absolutely love my duramax & have not done anything to it since I bought it!! & I’ve put 150000 miles & haven’t had a problem!! It has saved me so much $ from the Ford F-250 super fury that I had!
Clean the spark arrestor screen on the stihl. It will stop bogging down. Burn the carbon out with a small blowtorch, scrub it with a wire brush and put it back in.
Nick I was like you and I would keep things that were sentimental or because I never had money before and now out with the old and in with the new. I fix things once and if it's not worth fixing the the second time gone I seem to re coupe loss faster.
I have a business that burys cable TV cables. Those bed redefiners keep me in business, other companies don't bury nearly deep enough and the redefiners shred the cable
Sure try it out and make a video. But remember Chevy is great on “initial quality” they aren’t winning awards on long term quality. Ford has that all day every day. So it may seem great in that week, but long term the Ford is the most reliable option
U should try it there’s nothing wrong trying something new and if u don’t like. You still have your Ford it doesn’t mean u have to buy a Chevy. I’m just saying just try it
If it’s paid for, keep it. In regards to the Chevy, check it out but I don’t think you will like it. The biggest thing is rear-seat space for your employees, Chevy just doesn’t have it in comparison to Ford, Ram, and Toyota.

You can buy a clutch drum and turn a HT250 pole saw into a FS250 trimmer with a doner shaft and head! I just did it a couple weeks ago.

I think that them blower racks are for enclosed trailers instead of outside trailers.

I have used echo for a long time but when I tried my first stihl I don’t think that I will ever go back
