he could have at any time he could have arrested him for not showing ID at a traffic stop which is a legal requirement. he could have detained him and searched the vehicle under reasonable suspicion because the guy actually said he might have something to hide and admitted himself that armed police have had to deal with the vehicle before. so there were plenty of perfectly valid reasons the copper could have arrested him or legally detained him for if he actually wanted to.

@@CUGS2009 he actually did a good job and was very fair. as it was a traffic stop when he asked for ID and the guy said no he could have demanded it of arrested him for not providing ID at a traffic stop and would be perfectly within the law to do so but he didn't even though you are legally obliged to show ID at a traffic stop if asked for it. also the guy at one point says he might have something to hide but the police officer lets the comment go. even though at that point he would have reasonable suspicion to carry out a search of the video especially as the vehicle has a marker on it and previously armed police had to attend that vehicle. So considering the situation and the way the idiot filming it is acting and the previous history of the vehicle. the fact that after he had done what he had to do the copper left him get on with his day.

How did the "officer" ever get appointed? He is a trouble maker and his aggressive nature is uncalled for.
One officer seems eager to be _"obstruptive"_ and the other barely moves, speaks or blinks during the whole thing.

How is he a trouble maker he let the guy not show id at a traffic stop. Something that he is legally obliged to show when asked for at a traffic stop. And when the youtuber says they might be hiding something. Does not impound the car for searching or carry out a search of the youtuber. Something that he would have been legally allowed to do after a comment like that as it could be considered enough to create reasonable suspicion of criminal activity. So I would say the officer did pretty well did not arrest him for not showing if at a traffic stop (which legally he could have done) and explained to him who to contact yo get the market on the vehicle removed

@@CUGS2009 he actually did a good job and was very fair. as it was a traffic stop when he asked for ID and the guy said no he could have demanded it of arrested him for not providing ID at a traffic stop and would be perfectly within the law to do so but he didn't even though you are legally obliged to show ID at a traffic stop if asked for it. also the guy at one point says he might have something to hide but the police officer lets the comment go. even though at that point he would have reasonable suspicion to carry out a search of the video especially as the vehicle has a marker on it and previously armed police had to attend that vehicle. So considering the situation and the way the idiot filming it is acting and the previous history of the vehicle. the fact that after he had done what he had to do the copper left him get on with his day.
What an absolute tool of a cop , I couldn’t even be bothered to talk to him. Hope complaint was put in !

Police have a right to stop and search. Everyone thinks they should be obstructive .... why . This is a storm in a teacup blown up by someone who thinks he has a right to be difficult.
