- In this video I run down the 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Pro Street monster..."Mulligan" at the 2020 Detroit Autorama...Any of the tri five Chevrolet make great hot rods and they have been done every way one can think...My job is to find the different ones....Mulligan is different in so many ways...First the paint...A satin pearl terracotta over mile deep black...At first you think... Someone didn't get done for Detroit...But once it soaks in...Man what a cool color combo..It's a pro street build...468 Big Block...871 Blower...Whole in the hood....But!..The rest of the build is high end comfort...The custom interior is the perfect shade of leather and there are several changes to the stock design...But all the changes are a improvement..They all work with the rest of the build perfectly..Wheels are always a personal choice and no one set will please everyone ... The 18x7 and 20x15!! they are running on this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air from the 2020 Detroit Autorama work for Me...Roll the car over and you will find more high end pro street type of suspension all done to the same level as the top...I could go on forever about the detail and coolness in this 56 Bel Air from Detroit...Better if You check it out for yourself in 4k!!!

This car is loaded with cool details. This is a Belair 2 dr.,sedan, (most Belairs were hard tops) a rare body. Color scheme, interior, and wheels, are all a home run! One of the better tri-fives. I'm sure it will do a massive burn out if needed.

Gotta love a Belaire when it is done right. This one is DONE RIGHT. The Belaire is the most versatile car of it's era. It is the Camaro of the 50s. That airbrush was sweet. I thought it was an emblem.

For Chevrolet I've always thought the 56 was a notch above the classic 57. Love the way Chevy separated the 2 colors with the chrome trim beautiful. Love the deck lid (it's what we always called it) & the way they painted the blower & valve covers is cool. The colors are fabulous together and that interior WOW. I don't know if you can top this one with another 56 Scottie....stunning all around.
