Great review. The clear figures don't look good enough for me to get, but I have to admit...they do look awesome under light. I'll be sure to get Ironhide and Rodimus out to you this thursday!
@FrenzyandLazerbeak Thank you! I use a Sony SR-10 HD camcorder. I am not in the film industry, just a hobbyist right now. Editing in Final Cut is usually several hours per video. My camera has a very powerful microphone when I'm sitting right behind it, but for scripted narrations (I forgot if there are any in this vid) I use a condensor mic w/ phantom power from a small USB soundboard.
Speaking of the looseness on Optimus, I remember my original "The Battle Begins" version of Optimus already had annoyingly loose hips, knees, and shoulders
Vangelus Your are probably one of the top 3 reviewers I have seen Why kinda camera do you use? Everthing you film is clear and is not hindered by the dark backgrounds Are a camera man? How much editing do you do? Do you use a Microphone?? As you can tell I am new to all of this Good work anyways.

Okay, your review convinced me to buy this. I got sick of waiting for normal TFA Rodimus. Rodimus IS gorgeous! The engineering on the legs, spoiler/backpack and pretty much everything is nothing short of amazing. I did fear for parts crashing with the hands and hip engines/kibble (basically the two clear plastic parts) in car mode though and I'm wondering if your've discovered any tips for maybe making that line up a little smoother. As for Op, didn't have the mould yet, so he's cool.

I just got an Animated Rodimus yesterday. It's not ruby or clear, but my God, this toy is just about everything I never knew I wanted in a Transformer. Those arms really are a pain, though, and posing Rodimus with the crossbow can be difficult.
