Push the posts behind something to hold them back. Makes battery removal/installation easier. And there won't be sparking when the posts accidentally make contact with the terminals.

Im not a fan of aberrantly “gendered” people, but there are real life idiotic straight women that staunchly support gender roles, and are cliquey with their gender. Racism is bad, but gender cliquism is the absolute lowest form of exclusion. One is dismissing and scorning an entire half of the world’s population, 3.5 billion people that are known as men or women. It’s a pride thing I guess… when women demonstrate a loose screw when they foster stereotypes that declass/exclude themselves… probably as a revenge against men. The same way some black people are overtly, vexingly, and inconveniently, resentful for their ancestors’ past of slavery.
I’m REALLY struggling with this right now. So far I’ve got the headlights out and on the floor and I’ve been putting water mixed with soap into a tiny little hole on the side of the light itself. Still nothing though.

How tight should the metal be on the battery? As in should the metal pieces touch each other or should I tighten the screw until there’s resistance-even if it may mush the metal into each other?
Good video but exchanging batteries, old one is corroded, dirty, etc. U need to show HOW to clean/perform preventative maintenance on it. I would have cleaned that rusty tray & coated it with a rust proofing coating. I used to sell/install batteries & witnessed a ton of rusted out trays. Not real fond of those type terminals, but will do in a pinch & looks like a sealed battery. U need to tell them to emory/or wire brush the terminals. Jst sayn.
Thanks youre the dad ive never had
Honestly someone needs to make a playlist for all these vids
Just say thanks dad 😂
^
Then connect positive first, and finally negative.
Why ?
All very clean and pretty, show some real world crud up, seized up ,crapped up work

Thank you for this!
Keep in mind everyone not all batteries are this easy. They can get a looot more complicated
No kidding, I had to remove the strut tower brace, and the fuse box and harnesses to get mine out
@eightytwobucks623 yeah I used to work at autozone, kid had a modded civic with a strut bar that I had to get a 15mm and a torque wrench to get off
@@impromxtheus8483 jeez.. mine is a 06 Grand Prix gxp
Yeah but this is the basic idea. Taking crap off before getting to the battery is not the same as removing the battery.
Take my acerbic 🫴 Nice Try.
@gonzalo4658 there's no dividing into sub categories. Removing a battery is a process and the process is different in most makes models and years
Thanks bro I’m new to this car stuff no one rlly taught me haha
As a female,I really wanted to know how to do this myself
Thank you🙏🏾
What has being female got to do with it?

Can your next video show us how to change headlight fluid? I’m stumped trying to figure it out.
I’m REALLY struggling with this right now. So far I’ve got the headlights out and on the floor and I’ve been putting water mixed with soap into a tiny little hole on the side of the light itself. Still nothing though.
It’s actually called blinker fluid.

What's the size of the spanner you used to take off the bolts for the negative terminal ?
Is that a 8mm socket wrench?
How do you get the positioning screw out without that tool you have.?
Just remember to either leave the car running or use memory saver especially in Hondas or you gotta reset the radio
Wym by reset the radio!?
@@franko8572 if power is lost in some Hondas there is a radio code (usually in owners manual) needed to unlock the radio

What size wrench?
Depends on the car most are either 8 mm or 10 mm
What you mean with starting remove the negative ?
Is negative _
Easy and straight up
Thank you
Can I take the spacer before or no ?
The positioning screw ...is it ok to remove 1st or no ?

Enough for the terminals to be wrapped around the metal straps and if you pull on it and it doesn’t move at all around the terminal then you’re good
@@nicholasosorio6579 awesome is there such a thing as overtightening? That’s really my main concern
Easy peacy 😊
It's real simple when everything is new.
Good idea to wear gloves man
Also remember once you install your always reset your blinker fluid
thats awesome
What if you took off positive first then negative 🤔
Thanks
my scary ass would not be touching any of that w my bare hands💀
12v car batteries cant affect your hands, even if you connect the terminals with your hand's pinky & thumb
Have the radio reset code handy or your effed.
Watching this at work cuz I didn't want to hire a mechanic, this looks far too easy changing the battery in my chevy malibu I'll update everyone
Update
Blew the alternator 🤣🤣

Show us how to fill up the Blinker Fluid Reservoir!
Can you post the links for tools I need never had a father at all.
That seemed easy enough, now, show me how to do it in a 2002 Chrysler Concorde or Dodge Intrepid...
I have a 2015 Acura tlx I did this but also a clip attached to it so I disconnect that too ? It’s like electronic ?

I am always afraid something will explode.
Be sure to hold the old battery against your belly.
Why is my belly burning and rashed?
Why does my blue shirt have holes?
Sadly car batteries are not this simple to replace on new cars 😂
My battery is the same age 😂 2021
Those cable ends are junk af.
I'd never use them.
The whole damn vehicle is junk. It's a Ford product. The most valuable part in that thing was the battery that is why he took it out.
I agree. The corrode easily and don’t make a good connection. Emergency use only. Temporary use only!
The title of this video should be "HOW TO REMOVE A BATTERY" not how to charge it, lol.
It does say change, not charge.
it doesnt say that. read again
Negative first out and last in.
Worthless emergency battery terminals. Worthless corrosion pads. On a sealed battery. Not needed. Sealed batterys dont leak
Junk battery terminals and those pads don’t do squat and a battery that went bad in 2 years ?? Full warranty I hope
Worst brand of battery ever
You need to start by removing those wires those things are dangerous
temp battery terminals? do a video on changing the cables.
The red one is negative…
Positive
Red is universally positive. Either way, you should check to be sure before hooking anything up
