One of my all time favourite shoes. EVER. The Presto is one of Nike’s best models by far.

The Presto is one of my favorite Nike models
One of my 5 favorite Nike sneakers of all-time. They’ve dropped SO many colorways but the OG colorways (especially the Trouble at Home and Brutal Honey) are iconic. These were to the 2000 Sydney Olympics what the Flyknit Trainer were to the 2012 London Olympics.
Prestos gave inspiration to human racers and ultra boost

The Prestos have been one of my favorite sneakers since they originally came out back in 2000. I have owned many pairs of these and actually currently own THREE pairs (a 2015 retro of the “Brutal Honey” color way, a 2018 navy/Carolina GR and a pair from Nike By You). To me these are quintessential 2000 era Nikes, quintessential Alpha Project. This is perhaps my favorite non-Jordan.
That box sticker really brings the store home literally the design aspects and stuff is really intriguing to read

2016 my Prestos were XL but this year Nike randomly changed the sizing and I had to return 2 pairs of these. Major bummer.

I have had a pair of prestos for about 4 years and I really like them. Mine came in number sizing but even there I was able to go tts. My original intent was to use them as my running shoe and personally I really liked them!
It’s funny how Chris notes the look like water shoes to him because that’s what I use them for now when I go swimming in the river.
The Prestos are probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned!
I’m surprised you haven’t tried these yet. These were the wave back when the OGs released. I’m around the same size are you and went with a small, I appreciate the extra room for lounging around in. Give em some time and you’ll love em 💯
Rocking the shoe since day 1 a favorite! It’s the one of a few shoes that I thought when they released that they were ahead of their time
Don't rock with the Prestos, but I damn well have 3 pairs of the Eclipses, underrated model IMO!
One of the model that Nike did right. Comfy af. They should always be a pair of these on your rotation.
U got the Korea prestos yasssssss!!! Those are white tiger stripes btw and not zebra stripes. The white tiger is the logo for the Korean national soccer team! Nice pickup fam!!!
Love the Prestos! Wanted them since the originals but never got them. Finally got 2 pairs of the GPX retros from a couple years back in ocean fog and vivid sulfur colorways and are both heavily rotated to this day!
I think the Presto was ahead of it's time, if you look at modern shoes like Ultraboosts especially 1-4.0 I think they were massively inspired by the Presto with the sock upper and the plastic cage for the laces.
Love these prestos! Great to see the Swoosh release some dope casual shoes to coincide with the release of new National Team soccer kits

Yeah I hate selling prestos to customers. When they labeled them with actual sizes, I say it was always actually the half size. So a 8 was 8.5, 9 -9.5 and so on

I've been rocking and one of my top sneakers of all time. My first a pair I've copped was at mervyn's on sale for 30 back in the day. To me its the most comfortable sneaker and especially the flyknit versions.

I've owned numerous pairs of prestos. Love them!!! Very comfy everyday shoe. I had some knockoffs back in the day as well made by voit purchased as walmart.

Air Presto is my fav shoe for warm weather! got my first pair 4 years ago at an outlet and now I have 4 pairs of these badboys. but I also prefer the traditional sizing bc L isnt as tight as I'd like, but still with that little flaw its my fav shoe to wear.

I'm REALLY glad you reviewed these because some of these other reviewers are trash and give no information. I never thought you both would review this shoe because it didn't seem like your thing. Thank you. But for the sizing I have never owned a pair of prestos but I would assume that if you are closer to the end of the spectrum (like a 10.5 for sizing 9-11) I think it will fit better than if you were say a size 9 exactly. But what do I know? I never owned a pair.:-D
My go to since way back then. Most comfortable everyday shoe. Now living in Norway i wear the Utility version which is a mid water resistant. Ideal for winter days...n we got a lot of them!! 😄
I copped a pair of the Air Force 1 Low South Koreas, and the material quality on them was NUTS. I mean they a $130 retail AF1 low, that leather was the best I have seen on any of the nikes/jordans I got my hands on that released this year, so soft and buttery to the touch. Very happy with that purchase, especially since I paid resale for them.
I had those back then and the OG kukinis. I loved them.
i watched two other reviews for the same shoe and you break down the product nicely, you should bring in your better half
Got a pair for $80 a few years back. Loved them literally wore them into the ground
Tobie Hatfield and his team really placed alot of their bets on spacer mesh for the upper as the original prototype (it had a splayed v-notch on the ankle kinda like before Flyease was developed) was a size 9, and a coworker wore an 11 but it somehow didn't bother him. The shoe was so flexible enough that when the spacer mesh was discovered for that breathability as neoprene, while stretchy, trapped heat. I'm a narrow 9.5, but I was able to fit a size 8.
That spacer mesh is crazy, even before flyknit was discovered! I love running in this thing!

the akronymn presto our this shoe back on the map for me. Picked up one a Presto Utility when I was in Tokyo. I’m a size 10.5 for all my shoes but like all Prestos they are whole sizes only. Went a half size down and on hot days I wish I went a half size up.

I absolutely LOVE the Prestos!!
BUT, when these first dropped back in I think May I actually got thru on SNKRS, but I ordered the wrong size (an XL 13-15) and had to return them and then I had a pair show up from a raffle I won (and forgot I entered) from END over in the UK, but those were an XL as well. It's crazy because the last time I got a pair of Prestos in 2016 there were an XL but they covered the 12-13 range. It's extremely frustrating when I can barely get thru on releases manually and even more frustrating when the brand just changes the sizing without warning.
I use the prestos for work and I stand all day. Love it!
is it good for door supervisor job we need to stand 10/12 hours plz tell me if it’s comfort or not

The prestos are definitely a great shoe one of my favorite shoes in a lot of different color variations

I got a pair of the black and white Off White. Comfy yet slightly snug.
never had them..but definitely a fan.
they have them in letter sizes because when Tobie Hatfield (brother of Tinker) wanted someone to test them out, the tester was 2 sizes down, but they couldn't find anyone else to do it. After the test run, the tester did not complain at all about the size difference, and complimented the comfort of the shoe. Turns out the Presto shoe adapted very well to a particular size range because of certain materials used on it
I remember they called these, shirt for your feet, that’s why the sizing was like that.
I agree, the numbered sizes was off and decided to just skip them.
Got a pair of the safari (atmos) presto, there super comfy 👌 and look great 👍
i had the same problem with prestos, but i learned that i need to wear thicker socks when wearing a size S and thin socks when wearing XS.
just bought my 3rd presto today, REACTs though. :)
I LOOOOOOOOOVE the Prestos!!!!! I still have my original pair from 2001 but the cage is broken coz the plastic is old. 🤷🏽♂️ I also have the flyknit version but they did not come with an Alpha Project box...I WISH they did. They came is a Sportswear box. They were also different coz they were an “Ultra” version...so no duralon. I need to get myself another pair of Prestos....I’m sorta happy they went back to the original “sizing”....sorta. 🤣

Love the air prestos the only issue i had was the toe cap or the plastic piece at the front, it started to peel apart from the mesh nd we had to glue them back
Love my prestos. Had similar issues with sizing. Had the acronym pair and they only made whole sizes. I rounded up and it was a mistake😢

Along with Huarache, Prestos are one of the most comfortable sneakers ever even after seeing all the Boosts and Reacts and whatnots.
Been a presto fan since the early days. Can probably say it's my favourite Nike of all time. I'm normally a 10.5 and I always go with the Medium. When they changed the sizing I bought size 10 and they fit similar to the medium. I currently own more than 20 pairs. These were actually not from the Olympic pack but to honour the south Korean football team I think whose jersey was represented by the white tiger native to the country. The green ones that just released are for the Nigerian football team. Soccer in your terms, sorry sizing is so strange for you though.

These released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the presto. The south Korea dropped first presenting their soccer team, then the Australia's which is what the prestos were created for the Sydney Olympics by Tinker Hatfield brother "Toby" and then the Naija "pine green" which is to represent the Nigerian soccer team. I love the prestos.

New to presto, trying them on before buying them online good suggestion I should have done
. I bought size 12 triple blacks online and fit like normal, I just received the multi color today in large 11-13, and the sizes are totally different.. multi color fits snug.. I feel if I got the xl it would be too big.. but the more I try on the large multi color, I'm starting to feel this is how it's supposed to be. And I kinda like it

I think the reason why Nike advertised that wearing this Presto feels like a shirt because literally it has a shirt sizing and not the usual sizing chart for sneakers/shoes.

Bought these when they first came out, after a couple of months use the heel outsole rubber came off - literally ( good rubber crap glue used ) and the cage got brittle and broke-off easily.
The presto react is my fav one
