They definitely don't always act like it, but at heart, they're both very protective of the younger crewmates, and Franky almost certainly considers them all to be his little brothers and sisters.
I love the concept of Franky and Brook singing in a motorcycle as they aproach to who is literally one of the deadliests persons in their universe. This actually shows how the bond of the strawhat crew really comfort then of all the trouble they enter

@@funkyfox7996 No, the monster trio hasn't changed. During Wano, Zoro and Sanji took down commander, while Jimbei fought a member of the Tobiroppo like most of the other straw-hat. That pretty much confirm Jimbei place in the crew. If Oda had wanted to show he was expanding the monster trio, then Jimbei would have fought Jack instead.
@@funkyfox7996 Don't think Jinbe will ever take on the opponents on the level that Sanji will. Jinbe got a higher bounty because he's got a lot of reputation plus it made for a good gag. Sanji will continue to take down the #3 guy. I still don't know truly how strong Jinbe is though, he put down who's who with what seemed like relative ease, we haven't seen him get pushed yet.

People think it's strange for Nami to call Franky ' big bro ' when 1. Nami is used to live with a found family. She never had any blood relatives, so she treats the closest ones and the ones that she can count on as family 2. Franky ALSO is a family guy since he made the Franky Family from thieves and homeless people. He naturally is very caring for close ones. Plus he watched out for her during Sabaody fight, with Kizaru and Kuma. He was ready to flee with her soon as Luffy gave the order.

Actually there are 3 squad. 1 epic squad: luffy Zorro sanji 2nd - joker squad: Brook, Robin, Frank 3rd - usopp, nami, chopper. Every squad had a fight with a big mom in a different way lol 1st - hand to hand 2nd - drive over her face 3rd - stealing zeus :D

I’m sad that Franky’s theme didn’t start blaring out to help out with the moment, but god did they do a fantastic job with bringing this scene to life!
I made an edit of this right after the episode dropped with the theme hastily planted on top of it, and it fits PERFECTLY if you start it about where Nami yells for help. Posted it on One Piece Reddit too, but it got deleted for being "low effort" or something, which is fair, if kinda stupid. It annoys me to no end that they didn't do it in the actual episode. It works so brilliantly.

@@WingmanZ22 Well, Brook doesn't have a stomach but he can eat, so it seems like his DF lets him do everything he could in life without the need for his physical organs. And, it's actually kind of an upside that he doesn't, because he is invulnerable or at least resistant to certain forms of damage due to his lack of flesh, such as heat, fire, cold, and things like that to an extent.
If you consider how many natural resistances they have because of their bodies and how many weapons franky has and how much versatility brook's power has I would say giving these haki will be certainly overkill for anyone they face. They are already fighting and overpowering opponents with strong haki already.
Interesting question, but I don't know if they need it. They have both very "special bodies". Franks body is already like an armor and Brook doesn't care if his head falls off :-D

This immediately became one of my top 10 all time greatest moments in OP, hands down. The two most underrated Straw Hats just had the most badass moment of the raid so far
Big Mom catches no breaks this arc, I swear. Like she’s certainly powerful without them, but it shows that the biggest threat to our heroes during the Whole Cake Island arc was less Big Mom herself and more her massive army of children willing and ready to defend her tooth and nail. Here, she’s pretty much on her own thanks to King’s interference. It’s kinda cathartic seeing her take this much of a beating for a change.

One Piece is my favorite story of all time. It is a series packed with intricate worldbuilding, history and lore, while also finding time for completely ridiculous shenanigans like this one. A testament to Oda's prowess as a writer. I love this thing. 😁

People think it's strange for Nami to call Franky ' big bro ' when
1. Nami is used to live with a found family. She never had any blood relatives, so she treats the closest ones and the ones that she can count on as family
2. Franky ALSO is a family guy since he made the Franky Family from thieves and homeless people. He naturally is very caring for close ones.
Plus he watched out for her during Sabaody fight, with Kizaru and Kuma. He was ready to flee with her soon as Luffy gave the order.
Oda knows how to make the coolest lines for his coolest characters. That last line was fresh af.
Franky: **Doesn’t want Brook as ride-along partner.**

I think this is my all time favorite moment of brook and franky. The sheer badassery of them driving up to big mom singing a song is awesome

I’m sad that Franky’s theme didn’t start blaring out to help out with the moment, but god did they do a fantastic job with bringing this scene to life!
I made an edit of this right after the episode dropped with the theme hastily planted on top of it, and it fits PERFECTLY if you start it about where Nami yells for help. Posted it on One Piece Reddit too, but it got deleted for being "low effort" or something, which is fair, if kinda stupid. It annoys me to no end that they didn't do it in the actual episode. It works so brilliantly.

@@WingmanZ22 Well, Brook doesn't have a stomach but he can eat, so it seems like his DF lets him do everything he could in life without the need for his physical organs. And, it's actually kind of an upside that he doesn't, because he is invulnerable or at least resistant to certain forms of damage due to his lack of flesh, such as heat, fire, cold, and things like that to an extent.
If you consider how many natural resistances they have because of their bodies and how many weapons franky has and how much versatility brook's power has I would say giving these haki will be certainly overkill for anyone they face. They are already fighting and overpowering opponents with strong haki already.
Interesting question, but I don't know if they need it. They have both very "special bodies". Franks body is already like an armor and Brook doesn't care if his head falls off :-D

Brook is getting a lot of love in both Whole Cake and Wano. He’s my favorite strawhat personality-wise and backstory
Big Mom catches no breaks this arc, I swear. Like she’s certainly powerful without them, but it shows that the biggest threat to our heroes during the Whole Cake Island arc was less Big Mom herself and more her massive army of children willing and ready to defend her tooth and nail. Here, she’s pretty much on her own thanks to King’s interference. It’s kinda cathartic seeing her take this much of a beating for a change.
We know more about her power in the future chapters and it makes sense why... Although it's changed now and she's going all out😂
