If you ever heard her early stuff, you heard a child of God struggling with her faith, and celebrating God's redemptive plan. She did not turn her back on God, not from what I hear - she came to grips with her sexuality is all. I do not believe that "Gay" is a choice; but a brain "wiring" issue. Jesus died for our sins, and He died for her's as well. It is odd how we always think that another persons' sins are worse than our own. I can find bible verses that condemn infidelity, out of wedlock sex, envy, strife, the list goes on. Read the list of those who wo'nt make it - yet, there are those who still think they are "safe" or 'safer' than a lesbian. Odd how we use a different yardstick to measure another's sins. Jesus could have condemned the woman caught in adultery, but He didn't. How can anyone be so sure He will condemn Jen - a child of God who God instilled with a wonderful voice, and who wrote such touching songs about God's love and plan?
This song was born a classic!
My sister! What a great song. She's lost NONE of her vocal power and string pickin' skill. So good.
