I got one of these last year and I pretty much swear by it now. My secret is to run a compressor into it and then everything else goes through the effects loop. No need for extra overdrive and distortion pedals, no need to lug an amp everywhere.
Thanks for spending so much time on the mid gain tones on this, best demo I've seen! So I bought one. Funny, but I to feel in love with the Drive 2 channel set to really low gain.
Latecomer, but man Laney is just blowing it out of the water with these units. As a worship player, di is (for better or worse) vital at services for foh and live stream. However, college campus ministry for us is straight amp volume. This hits all the boxes, the DI (Achilles heel of many products if we're being honest) is really just stellar. Great demo, enjoyed the presentation. Subbed.

Laney says that this Loudpedal can be used as a dirt pedal in front of an amp. It apparently makes squealing noises when you do that. Any ideas?

It does have an FX loop. Just seen it highlighted on another channel
