currently the price of gold is very high and not everyone can afford it, therefore the jewelry business especially gold plated jewelry is in great demand because of of it's more affordable price and the exact same appearance as gold. in this video i will give a complete tutorials on making rings from the smelting of materials to the plating process with simple tools and easy way so you can also try this at home.

I used to think why jwellery makers charge so high for making, but now I understand it's a lot of hard work and time. Respect for your work.
You're not to think such but most jewelry places don't do this this is an actual jewler most jewelry places order from a manufacturer which has all this done by machines and they still charge high markup as if they made it handmade

Quite smart to use Aqua Regia, drive out all HNO3 by heating it up and then diluting it again with distilled water and then using ist for electroplating. My company is making metal testers, so I often have to do with precious metals and appreciate the simple but effective way. It was a joy to see this craftmanship as well.

Seeing the level of a master craftsman is amazing to me. Im a novice and am learning the soldering and its such an overlooked aspect until your the one doing it. These small details make the difference. Truly a pleasure to watch. Small insights each time I watch this or another video.

@notfiveo I have bought handmade silver plated with gold for a little over 200 dollars; it was the real thing, very well made and lasted for years until I tired of it. 1000 dollars for silver is a robbery unless it was a very big piece and with lots of precious stones.
I've always loved Smithing, I'm level 100 myself but prefer Smithing Daedric but each to their own I guess.

I worked for an electronics company & there were some things that were very small - kind of like this person did when they drew a design on this ring but we had to use a microscope, tweezers, etc. So I understand the definition of “tedious” work!

Impressive! 👏👏👏 but there's this one thing, you should use a real gold 18 to 21 karat rather than a plated one so all your effort might not be too useless and it will be more expensive. Invest on it at once! 💎
