There is Avex USA in LA, so I'm hoping they would set up some sort of small local event there, like how k pop started in the US. Meantime I'll just contact local radio stations so this song gets heard by non k pop audience.

XGALX is run by Simon, hes japanese korean and used to be in a kpop group wayyy back in the day. Hes been planning and working on XG for like 5 years until now. His plans for this group are crazy im so excited and hope they can truly go global and start promoting all over.
He is a Japanese producer grew up in US, later in Korea then Japan. When he was in Korea, k pop was actually more like a J pop copy back then, like JY Park himself said recently their producers were heavily influenced by J pop and learned know how from Japan and Avex was actually the one who introduced korean artists in Japan to do j pop in early 00s. Then he became an Avex trainee himself in Japan and graduated Japanese university (of music). He then became a k pop group member much later at age 26 but only a year or so and now back again with Avex for their 5 year project to aim global market and revive the 90's Avex's golden era when R&B dance & vocal artists were popular in Japan.
Left Right is that R&B the people appreciate because of the vocals harmonies and Runs with the most beautiful adlibs going on with the whole song XG is superior

XG reminds me of the R&B/Rap groups of the 90s & early 2000s (Xscape, SWV & TLC, etc). They only need a few radio stations to start playing their music. They will clean up here in the US

I think Kpop scene is just the beginning, something like a window through which they got such a hype. I won't be surprised if the next comeback will be promoted not only in Korea. Slowly and steadily, step by step. Not everyone can get worldwide recognition immediately. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't miss the beginning of the journey.

i think xgalx would love to debut them in the US, but i think it's not about their music, but they might have financial constraints. they're pushing it through radio stations tho! if you can, maybe request it on radio stations there? i'm not really sure how it works, but it would be greatly appreciated!!
XG's activities have always been very calculated imo. also US entertainment channels aren't really the same with korea. for a pop group like XG who only still has 4 releases so far, short stages like in korea are far better options to do for now. the US, i think is a bit similar with japan where live performances in many venues are more appreciated in the long run. maybe wait for a full album? i know jurin said there are still plenty of good music in the "XG Files" that they for sure want to perform for us!

Avex USA might have some influence, but imo, it's not enough to reach mainstream

Yeah, i saw the producers name after i saw the former CEO visiting AVEX USA but in terms of like promotion and stuff, they could use AVEX USA however there's no one like these Korean shows in America solely just for music. They can get a performance in the US. But they need to be strategic about it. You can't rush a US expansion with no plans. It'll only end up in failure. But for now artists from 88rising are taking notice of XG. If cards are played right...who knows. But for now lets solidify that domestic support back in Korea & Japan first.

Jakops is the CEO and Executive Producer of XGALX, the agency of XG. Born to a Korean father and a Japanese mother, he was born in the United States and came to Korea at a young age. He is from a Korean kpop group and is a former Kpop producer. And Japanese companies only invest money. In the Kpop system, Korean staff trained XG members for 3-4 years. Even now, Korean staff are managing and they are promoting in Korea. It is only called J-pop because of the intention of the Japanese company that invested the money. They should be seen as a Kpop group.

Four songs is a pretty small discography to promote via Billboard without a full album to be doing the international circuit. I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing an Xtraordinary Girls album one day soon before the years out as Simon Jakops knows exactly the avenue this group is going to achieve.
Yooo this group is so hypeee I'm seeing them come to North America in under 2 years, given how long it took BTS and BlackPink to reach radio stations and shows here.

Shooting Star got on Pop Rising playlist on Spotify! I think organic growth is better in the short term at least for a group like XG as they're trying to break many boundaries and it's not gonna be easy 😭 They will need a strong fandom to back them up. I'm here for it 😁
