Creepy Night Walk Through American Neighborhood at Halloween | Nature Sounds for Sleep and Study

- Come with us on a walk through a historic neighborhood located in Raleigh, NC during the captivating autumn season, with Halloween just around the corner.
Our journey begins at sunset, with the surroundings slowly dimming as we progress. The nighttime sounds become more distinct, adding a subtle, eerie touch. The historic houses, with their atmospheric lighting and decorations, provide a hauntingly beautiful backdrop.
As our walk continues, we transition from the charming Halloween ambiance to the deeper darkness near the historic Oakwood Cemetery. In certain stretches, only the soft light from the sky through the canopy of trees guides our path.
Rest in peace to all those who lay in the cemetery and a special tribute to the fallen soldiers who bravely served.

We mainly film using a Sony FX30/E 11mm F1.8 camera and a Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal for steady footage. Nature's sounds are recorded with a Zoom F6 and binaural microphones, and we polish the final product with Davinci Resolve Studio and Izotope RX.
The purpose of our videos is to provide an escape, potentially offering benefits such as relaxation, stress relief, and fostering a calming environment conducive to meditation, study, and sleep.

aw I'm so glad this appeared in my recommended! Halloween has always been my favorite day out of the year. My neighborhood slowly dried up and became less active over the past decade, the kids and I are all working adults now. I still miss seeing everyone outside and going ham with their decorations. However, it still hasn't killed my love for Halloween. Wonderful little video!

But you have to pick older neighborhoods. Modern neighborhoods in America are very “sterile.”

@@RelaxingWalks @RelaxingWalks Yes, I lived in northeast South Carolina in the 80s, moved out of the South, then returned in Charlotte from 2014-18. When I returned, it did seem Autumn came a lot later than previously, for sure.

This neighborhood is called Historic Oakwood, which is celebrated for its beautifully maintained Victorian and early-20th-century homes. Adjacent to it lies a similarly aged cemetery.
And as for your advice about fearing the living more than the dead, you're absolutely right! Let’s just say, WE (there’s multiple people walking in each video) always stay prepared and alert, so there's no cause for concern on our end.

This looks like a recently gentrified neighborhood that had been bad for a long time. Am I right? I live in Charlotte and am familiar with neighborhoods that look exactly like this.
Mid-gentrification. This is a historical Victorian neighborhood called Oakwood. It and the surrounding area. Some restore the house’s properly while others seem to be house broke.
