They are just asking advice. It's just like when people go to marriage counseling before marriage and people who go after marriage to save the marriage. GabeRozier They were NOT at a crosswalk. They were coming out of a grocery store. A pedestrian only has the right away if they are in the crosswalk or in the path of a vehicle. They can’t just walk out in front of you, and expect you to stop, which was her case. I have had the same thing happen to me, and I didn’t stop either.

@@fayeraye I have both a CDL and a taxi license in NYC. And while getting both licenses the teachers always taught me that pedestrians and cyclists always have the right of way because they have the least amount of protection regardless if they are in the wrong or not.
I was taught to take into account their reckless behavior and navigate around it for their protection. That and to save time from waiting for cops in case of accidents and other legal related aggravations.

One thing I’ve notice, SOME women won’t stop to let people cross or long enough at a stop sign. Men seems to be better at letting people cross. I am a woman myself and 8 time out 10, when a car runs pass me at a stop sign while trying to cross I see a woman driver.

I agree with Judge Lynn about letting the pediastians (misspelled) go first. Not worth car accident of any sort and just better to let people go even though I do believe that ALL need to follow the rules including walkers. The pediastetion had no right to damage property so I do agree with the young lady about being angry on that and him just sitting there not doing anything. Yes legally the pedestrian always has the right of way because the driver is supposed to have discernment, be cautious, vigilant, and paying attention to the road at all times while behind the wheel. Some people dont know how to properly drive and dont know the rules. Even when they pop up the driver has to stop. It just takes a second. I take every precaution as driver and as pedistrian cause that is one expensive mistake. Its something I take cause I see it too much.
