How much time doctor took to do SLT for one eye? For me he took only 1 minute today. I wanted to know usually how much time a doctor take to do for one eye.
I had this done recently for eye pressure. The procedure is painless and lasts only 2-3 minutes. However, I developed light sensitivity as a side effect, for which they gave me eye drops to help heal.

Actually Havana, Cuba is the nearest place where affordable glaucoma surgery can be done with absolutely no difference in quality. I mean affordable for self-pays.
lann bak Laser beams can be adjusted finely to affect certain tissue and not others. The type of laser used for this tissue would have minimal effect on the cornea.

Have you considered the laser surgery? I've been on am/pm drops about 4 years now. I'm kinda done with these drops. Let me know, thanks.
If it last for several years does that mean it has to be redone at that point in time and can it be redone? Can you drive afterwards?

Doesn't the laser burn the cornea going through the cornea to reach the iris. Please advise me on this, thanks

No, the cornea is transparent to the laser, so no energy gets absorbed
@@salsahot Can't we damage the cornea using a laser beam? (doubt)
I believe because the laser is not in focus on the cornea it doesn’t cause damage to it. Similar to yag laser capsulotomy in patients with PCO..
