You know Gwanwyn can do 1700 Skill Damage Factor every 10 secs?
Awakened = 100 poison every second for 3 seconds = 300 SDF. x2 within 10 seconds High Chances
300 + 150 + 800 = 1,250 --> Low Chances
TOTAL SDF = 1,700 Every 10 seconds with low chance of 1,250.

Syn kinn is hands down best archer pvp march imo. However using 2 archer marches like I do it's best to split the two and use syn frea/ kinn nico. Or hosk. However I use snow roc with heavy emphasis on def break so nico is primo. And theia could use a bit of credit she does a lot more than skill dmg buff. And as of rn she does more skill dmg buff without the canceling of the celestials. But another great video Chis more cod content plz
Liliya/Velyn are definitely the ultimate mage pair, but I feel like in a game that is dominated by aoe fights, the value of Bertrand and Theia has to be much higher because they enable you to bring 2 super solid mage marches on the field. You can do Liliy/Theia and Bertrand/Velyn for example and get very positive and reliable trades! Not many other marches can match the value of a mage march in ball fighting. I would also argue that many people who aren't whales will get much better results from the game in general from using mages, so the more mage marches you can bring that are on a high power level the better imo!
Also they had said Thirst for Blood was supposed to trigger Bertrand's compound interest so if they fix that it would make him incredibly better even without Tohar, but in the current state with Velyn you can still reliably get 2 stacks so its not that bad, everyone needs to give some love to our Bertrand! I cant accept that Bertrand/Theia would be below Forondil/Theo🤣
no march speed, aoe, or debuffs on bertrand. unfortunately missing all of the things you'd want to see on a fielder. Among the better options that exist for mages... sure, but I'd still say he's not ranked any higher than C
@@Chisgulenah u trolling fam he has the highest single target dmg For mages. it's a must have if u want to run 3 solid mage marches. And as I understand u were advocating for the average player to go mage correct? Unless u want to wait 3 cycles of new commanders before we get a new set of mage comaders again. Then bertrand is a good choice definitely at least an A. No guarantees the next mages will even be aoe like lylia or velyn .

I agree with you that the new mages are disappointing compared to the G2 archers for example, but Bertrand has incredibly high scaling DMG compared to any other hero in the game as well as a lot of buffs, and considering Mages and Marksman are the only troop type anyone who isint a whale should be touching, I just do not understand how they could be so low tier, especially considering how bad Cav units are in general right now and Theo/Forondil are completely useless on the battlefield 90% of the time in war, and the only people who can get good value from them are maxed accounts, similar to Goresh/Skogul, who are amazing, but wont last 2 second as anything but T5 @@Chisgule
Agree, multiple mage marches is absolutely meta, and his tier list is *heavily* skewed by the fact that he is not running two. I'm personally running Bert/Theia on the hopes they fix Thirst for Blood, and my Theia is awakened.
Kinnara kit is S tier
Nico + kinnara with a good snow roc and lv5 rattle spear is unbelievably good, even better than syndrion and ffraegar at their max potential
Its not the bert is better than liliya velyn, its that you can bring a second mage march that can earn merits effectively. Having more marches on the field that are good is very helpful especially considering what people with 2-3 marches were running before. Not using alwyn theia anymore makes a big difference. I think if you guys get to zone 5 and face an equal alliance, every player bringing another mage march is hugely impactful on winning the field
This is it. Every server I've watched in ST1 so far, at LEAST 3 ranged marches is meta, and I'm seeing 4 regularly.
So one celestial march and one vestal march? Which heroes do you guys use? I keep seeing different combos
@@Foofighters30Yes, although with the tohar buffs i am now using liliya velyn/ bert tohar as they are the best 2 marches.
Only thing that is tricky is that artifacts/pets play a role. Some heroes gain more from artifacts and pets than others do.
Specifically, if you have a lvl 5 rattlespear and a good Snowpeak Roc, I think the synergy is so good that Nico becomes A, and Kinnara/Nico are both pushing S tier at that point.

I'm a newer player but I doubt anyone will see this anyways... but I wanna invest in something from season 1 that will carry me throughout the game. I currently have liliya and veyln. I'm not sure if I need multiple marches for pvp like a tank to protect myself or what as well. If anyone sees this and replys with solid advice I love you.
Wanna say thank for the video your so much help also I’m close to my 1st T5 what do u think I should go with T5 archer or T5 mage 🤓 wanna go good in pvp and raid so should I lean on archer 🧐
archers are good for both pvp and behemoths. mages are only good for pvp, but they are very good for pvp.

Hey Chisgule, I understand most people are using Syndrion/FF but I´ve actually had very good success with Syndrion/Kinnara and I´m working towards awakening Kinnara at the moment. The survability and Kinnara´s kit are edging it for me but do you think I should change my pairing?
I haven’t run that combo to know, but I’ll say that it depends on whether or not you’re running two marksman marches. I run 2x marksman and it’s great. And in a two marksman combo I’d use syn frae and a combination of kinnara with either Nico or hosk

I’ve asked the same thing. I’ve tested both variants thoroughly and what I’ve personally found is that Lily/Theia are good for group fights/multiple legions but 1v1 Lily/Velyn is better cause of the crit rate jump. Also depends on if they’re awakened, artifacts, etc. I’ve also noticed a lot of content creators are using t5 units so that’s also a big factor.

if you dont have theodore, but have forondril, wouldyou run forondril with bakshi emrys or just stay bakshi emrys combo?
I run forondil with Emyrs as deputy. Depends on other factors as well; what’s your faction? Are you hit and run? Artifacts? Etc

Can someone please comment as to why Lily/Theia are a better pair than Lily/Velyn? No one in my alliance believes me lol and these are people with 70+mil BP minimum.

Man don’t do that to Emrys I’ve got him awakened and bakshi..breakin my heart he’s a beast! I will say flying Cavs have been the most fun I’ve had in the game, best decision I made was changing factions. Forondril is awesome but I haven’t done anything with theo, is he worth it for real? Emrys damage/mobility has been why I’ve stuck with him and bakshi
He’s a content creator that gets paid by COD lol he’s gonna always push the new heroes. Check the history of his vids. You’ll keep seeing a repeated theme 😅
I dont mean anything bad by this Chisgule.....wait...just dawned on me....I was going to say your a high spenders youtuber for this game....but not even that because they can figure it out using their money to run experiments on their own.....so really....and again...dont take this the wrong way.....but your advice will never be beneficial to low-spenders/F2P players.
EDIT: Its because they cant get the tokens needed to max out all the legendary heros. If lucky...and I mean a F2P stays in the game as long as you have been currently, and has a P2W alliance behind them....then they MIGHT be able to awaken 2 legendary heros by the time season 3 comes around....and I doubt even 2.....by the looks of total resources.. 2 legendary heros can be awaken by a low-spender ($100 or less) and 1 from a F2P. The information in most of your videos...DO NOT apply to these people.....and quite frankly....I think they are the majority of the player base.
I prefer using Waldyr as main than Velyn
As you should! Velyn isn’t really a great commander cause of the co from tree n other reasons
I think Goresh is useless Hero, and I believe Madeline is wayyy better. I always go with Mad+ Skogul. Thia has the best talent tree IMO so C is not what she deserves.

Nah , Bertrand is way better ,he give so much merits (Bertrand/euthus) combo , you need try him first in real battlefield before you put him in that rank brotha 😅

For anyone saying Bertrand is good in open field, are you guys taking long-range warfare? Because Bertrand mage troop is just an archer troop with long-range warfare but less dmg😂

still a waldyr+velyn pair destroys lily/velyn any time in 1v1 , we tested it especially with ice lizard, snowblind triggers and deals insane amount of dmg.
very cool that it wins a 1v1, but open field is not 1v1s.

@@Draliszice lizard delays the skill cast from commanders at the moment. You're most likely losing dmg by using ice lizard
its only delays the first cycle then its the same as with every other pet@@deeezsuper
CoD can blow me! Once I hit the arrows/treaties wall I just couldn’t keep playing this game. Not to mention it’s like a damn job if you’re in a decent alliance. No thanks, I’ll go play toxic league again.
AoE dies with Pure strength pet skill. Imagine you fight an enemy with all enemy members have Pure Strength on their pet....Yikes.

It's very interesting how much people are under-rating infantry. Infantry have almost always been the defining factor of who wins and loses ground.
@@Chisgule When I fight against these heroes they melt in 5 seconds and the counterattack doesn’t reach me since I am using Mages. I feel like they are more suited to fight in smaller scale battles instead of large scale ones.

liliya reads, "deals diffused damage to the target and 2 nearby legions" so that's three targets. If you actually use goresh and skogul, they're absolutely goated.
