This is awesome! It's more of a "popular tunes" medley than really movie themes ... lots of stuff there from jazz, classical, and even opera/musical mediums.
Fantastic!!!!! These guys are just beautiful! They add humor, but they also make beautiful music! makes me want to get better on the trumpet myself, but it has been a long, hard, slow road. The playing hers was as beautiful as it gets. The singing was also as good as it gets. Just incredible stuff!
It more often takes a 60-piece orchestra to produce the depth and complexity of sound that this 7-man ensemble creates as matter of course. For pure entertainment, Mnozil Brass is hard to beat. And yes, their acapella vocal are astounding. Many thanks guys.
OMG absolutely. I have a degree in Tuba performance, and then after that pivoted to choral music, and they worked HARD to do things that any good choral group does. Diction, timing, pronunciation (which, even in a native language has to be coordinated). I am so happy a group this talented exists.

Back in the day, Canadian Brass was the best brass quintet in existence. Now I'd have to say Mnozil Brass is the best quintet now. Their music is amazing, and their stage presence is perfect.
Torviseitsikon esitykset koskettavat sieluani parhaiten. Niissä korostuu messingin puhdas klangi ilman toisten soittimien häirintää. MieIipiteeseen saattaa vaikuttaa osaltaan ehkä se, että itse perehdyin soitinmusiikiin ensin juuri torviseitsikossa, Ess kornettia 1950-luvulla. Whats the name of the few bars fanfare intro from 0:18 to 0:28, sounds like john williams or korngold......its great and one of the best parts of this great medley...saw the guys last year...indredible.....
That part is a slightly modified John Williams Star Wars main theme intro, and they troll you a bit by wandering off of it to move on with the medley :)

Best brass section I have ever heard. Not one stands out over the others, they blend perfectly in tone and volume. It is what a true brass section in any orchestra or band should sound like.

I love how they first do this crazy whole piece for 8 minutes straight and then end it by spending the last 37 seconds with a beautiful rendition of the German word for "Balls."
Been to see them when they first came to UK. They marched past us playing random stuff not together, then lined up on stage and BAM! Literally you can feel the sound hit your face. P.S didn’t know Graham Norton could play trom 😂
This ensemble is technically better in my opinion. The sound is much better and they play a much more varied selection of music types while keeping it all professional. They also actually PERFORM. They interact with each other and PERFORM instead of sitting still and playing a single song.
...even as an acapella choir they're amazing...

be sure. we´re listening. and them too. they are amazing. and they are "rock"stars. all over the world!
Years later I’m still picking out bits and pieces. 3:21-3:24 is Bach “little fugue”.
5:04 is "In the mood" xD
Beautiful choral work, too...!
The beginning is good

Amazing. Thank you for the post!
And the guy who comes in at 8:29 can sing VERY well too!
Very very super! Very inttesting arrangierung.
Awesome dynamics
O mais legal é que eles tornam tudo divertido. Beautiful!
This song is mostly Light Calvary Overture with a few movies added in
OH MY GOODNESS THE RITE OF SPRING
FANTASIA
Wonderful
What's Rite of Spring doing there at 4:19??
Part of the score from Fantasia. Dinosaurs. Extinction.
Howly shit Igor Stravisnky yeah and somewhere at 5:00 can i hear Rhapsody in Blue (Gershwin) as well
is that sideways trumpet just a rotary valve trumpet or is it a completely different instrument?
A really crisp sound. Great! I've never heard of these guys. Are they German?
Austrian
That's "I could have danced all night" from "My Fair Lady".
2019?
Unglaublich !
There is a little bit of Mahler 2 from the trombone at 0:12
I have to study more 5:26! Awesome!!!
@recalcitrist1 They're not valves. They're rotors! Rotors are amazing to play on.
4.48 = eargasm!
Also, 5.10 - 5.24 sounds like something from Donkey Kong 64! :P

am anfang spielt die tuba die bassstimme von der meistersinger overtüre oder nicht ?
All of them play on Schagerl instruments but Wilfried, he plays on a Meinl Weston
What are they singing in the end???
I do believe that they are sponsored by and all play on Schagerl instruments which are made in Austria.
and "Leichte Kavallerie" by Franz von Suppé is in at 4:12
As a Swede it’s sound like Pippi Långstrump 😍
@JinnyMic this was before zoltan was a part of the group, i believe
The tuba is playing part of Festive Overture at the beginning!
And part of the Die Meistersinger Overture.
A middle part from the Overture "Leichte Kavallerie"
wow that trombone slide sounded like an air raid siren
+Trevor Welling It's not Zoltan it's Sebastian Fuchsberger
when the bass voice comes in at 8:21
