Every year for christmas my stepmom gets me an ornament. It's usually related to events that year or activities I've been involved in. I danced growing up so I have ballerina ornaments from 1997! She kept them all for me and gave me the box when I had my own tree. It's super exciting every year to relive my life through Christmas ornaments and my tree is extra special because of that. Maybe you could start that tradition with your babies so their trees will be just that special for them too. 🎄

We have several small trees in everyone’s bedroom. The one in my husbands and my room has ornaments on it that we used to decorate the Church for our wedding. Just brings us joy and our girls think it’s great ❤️

Our tradition was to give our children a ornament every year , they are all married with children and it carries on to this day ! We now give one to each grandchild until they are 10 yrs. old , my kids rules 😁 Love what you are doing , I love the look of awe on their faces ! And the way you said seeing the magic of Christmas through your child’s eyes is exactly how I felt when they were that age. Soak it all up! If you get an opportunity to take them to Disney at Christmas time! It is a memory that’s unmatched. The way Disney does Christmas is so unbelievably special. We have done a buildoff of gingerbread houses every year too

im so sorry for your loss. my brother passed away (before I was born) he was hit by a car when he was 4, and it happened a few days before Christmas. Growing up (and now) Christmas has been hard for my entire family. I try to do the best I can for everyone to make it a little bit brighter and merrier.
