Appreciate this video! I bought the Broaddict rock sliders and they came with NO instructions, of course. With your help, only took me a half hour. Too easy
Thank you for the video! It made installation a breeze as the paper instructions were not great. 2 quick questions: it looks like you did not use a torque wrench. You still feel ok about the install? I ask bc I’ve not done this before. Also, do you by chance have a link to the plastic covers? I’d be interested in those. Thank you again!
Hi, sorry I've been out of town for work and didn't catch my notifications. I've been working on cars my whole life and most things don't require a torque wrench like this for myself. You're not dealing with anything torque sensitive on this so just good and tight works. I'll see if I can find a link for the pinch weld covers.
@michaelpatterson-up4ze I've looked up some pinch weld covers like DV8's offering and they are saying they aren't compatible with factory rock Sliders so if you find some make sure they say they work with your rock rails. I'd honestly just get some black plastidip, mask stuff off, and put several coats on it. Its much easier to deal with than paint if you haven't tried it before.
Awesome. Thank you so much! It’s definitely better looking with the rock rails. Gives it a finished look vs. seeing the pinch weld with pre-drilled holes.
Fun police alert!!! I did, and I didn't. When was the toe danger? Some of the best things happen in the West in flip flops or anywhere in general. When it's 100 degrees, not sweating is one of them. Working on cars my whole life I'm pretty good at knowing when to use glasses. Putting some bolts into something manually isn't one of those times. If you're on the ground and something is above you then use glasses or look away when you do something to create falling debris. Thanks for not watching, but ironically taking the time to leave a constructively criticizing comment.
Great video, easy to follow. I installed my rails after watching your video without a single issue. Thanks!
Glad to hear it helped John!

@@TheCorneringStore Thank you so much! I’m out of my comfort zone with doing anything on cars, so the reassurance is much appreciated!
