Thanks! I went looking for how to play. I'm collecting games we pass down for the next family reunion so the kids who attend can be involved. I was a kid in the '60s, and when we visited my grandparents, I watched the big boys play, but they never taught me. I loved the look of marbles and would collect them for a while. I found some very old still in their original bag once.
I love that this was sold as a "peaceful play" segment. I remember rolling in the dirt with a friend when he messed up my brother's shot after he himself missed. That was back in the mid 80's. Drew the circle in the dirt. Also, would draw the circle with chalk if we played on concrete.
I played this in the 60's Good to teach your kids a fun and easy game to learn. But the best way to play is on a hard floor have them make 2 circles That way the sec one will stop it from rolling away.If not have other kids go after the rolling marbles. My Friend and I would play kids in our area and we have a few marbles by the time we were done we would have about 50 marbles. Yes if you win you keep the marbles. All the kids back then love the game. and the other thing is Bottlecaps we love playing that also :)
