I love the 80's sounds!!!
yes more than todays sounds!!!
I love that sound 00:29 to 1:00. It sounds like the beginning of Whitesnake's Here I go again!!! I would love to hear the whole song on this instrument on repeat for an hour...
Your hands can make pure magic.
Jump was really good!
"Fly Like an Eagle" was 1976 - but it fits in with your '80s sounds! Excellent job!
Great example. I used the Motif XS8 for every sound on my latest single Get Big. It has amazing sounds for every type of music. Wonderful tool. Thanks for the Vid.
love the new wave sounds and metal sounds
The XS sounds are mind blowing! Great demo!

Wow! I think these are my patches. Sweet job!
When The Final Countdown started there was a huge grin on my face 😁
Great! One question, does this pack includes only the voice or also PERFORMANCE modes so you can jam and play around with in PERFORMANCE MODE with backing sound (bass, guitar etc) of those specifics songs?
Great demo and you're a really great player.
@gazz4u Hi - I don't know about the DVD - the sounds are all from a downloaded sound bank from the website motifator - 80's sounds - the jump patch is just called .. jump !! If you have a look on the presets in the SYN COMP category there is one called After 1984 which is pretty close
28 : 0
good cover job
the INXS one is spot on..and I have the original patch on the E-Mu Emax.
Yet another GREAT video performance from this guy :)
I don't know I'll have a look - on my Korg Karma there is almost that exact sound and it's called big fat sync, so I'll see what it uses on the korg to get an idea
@cinqo7 It includes about 20 performances, but none of them have any arps or backing, they are just more layered sounds
Never Tear us Apart - INXS lol this sound so close to the Queen's Show must go on...
awesome ! ! ! i have the motif XS rack 5 5 5
I would be happy to have them too
Michael Jackson and Van Halen's were excellent!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!

So was Prince!!!!!!!
Is that patch/sound by chance called "Sync"-something? On my Motf 6, EX5, Kronos, Triton, XV5080, etc, those types of lead sounds always seemed to be called "Sync"-something.
@rickatplaykeyzdotcom you did all the work - it's a great soundset - thank you
nice demo !
HI there? could you copy the original arps and save it on USB?
@protectionman For the Hammond sound try my video Yamaha Motif XS - Hammond Slow Blues
Do you have any idea where/if there is a patch for the song "Why Can't This Be Love" by Van Halen? My band is doing that song and I just can't get the proper sound. thanks for any help.
this is great
@DutcHcHinK well they used an emax sample disk in that song.
DO you have a video on the tutorial of I Just died in your arms tonight?
Could you share the specific names of the sounds you use? I have his keyboard, and that would be helpful. Thanks.
Did you add any effects to these sounds or is this straight out of the Yamaha? Also we’re these hard to setup?
Newbie here. Does it matter which MO synth you have to use the soundset ? Are they all the same? would this work on a MO6 61?
awesome video. I have the Yamaha MM8 - any recommendations for Take on Me? I cant seem to get it down right. I just bought it. Im used to playing piano so this is all new to me using a keyboard "station." andy help would be appreciated. Also, Runaway by Bon Jovie help would be appreciated.

Where can I get these sounds?!
@protectionman ok, check out my video vox continental sound, very close to the Doors sound.

How did you get these effects? On they easy to make on the Yamaha?
I can relate. I too know the beginning to a couple hundred different songs. :P

I'd like to hear a Hammond B3 sound as played on Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum and a Farfisa sound as played on the Doors "Light My Fire". Can this machine do that?
i want one!
Holy shit at 1:32 with Michael Jackson's Thriller
Would love to see how you're playing 1999.
will these sounds work with my Yamaha Mox8 and if so then how do I get them and load them.....thanks....
Can you tell me the tone on the keyboard for when you play Here I Go Again by Whitesnake?
G
oysterlovers Is that a no?
JDizzle69 The tone is a "G".
Duke - SWT Mate The key of the song is G... I think he is asking what sound he used.
Haha, sorry ! I thought he meant what key - it's from a downloadable bank of sounds called 80's sounds, available from the Motifator site
I seek the composition of your sounds and scores of your songs you can demo them to me Thanks
Is this an XS7?
Where download this for S70 XS ?
Who didn't love the 80s?
Она звуки 80-x демонстрирует на примерах отрывков песен тех лет.
I love eighties
nice
te number of the tones???
Why play some songs in the wrong key?
Yeah.... i didn't like!
JDizzle69 Possibly because he couldn't find the right tone for it.
What song are you playing at 3:46?
"Let's Go Crazy" by Prince.
Post a video of it then...While your at it, maybe one of you playing those songs.
@alexanderbronner it's a downloadable soundset available from w w w dot motifator dot c o m
Yamaha's Motif line had a good run & was/is a great synth, (I have a Motif 6/classic w/PLG150-AN & -DX) but all good things must eventually come to an end. Yamaha has fallen FAR beyond Korg & needs to do something new/different, or get back to basics. I don't know what Yamaha has against analog & VA/Analog modeling. They did it (analog/VA) so well & there is a market for it. Yamaha's decision to drop the PLG-150 expansion boards after the ES, was a deciding factor in my refusal to buy a XF or XS. (went w/a Kronos X 88 & Kurzweil PC3K6) There is no buzz or hype w/Yamaha. No news about any potential new products or synths. Are they exiting the high end, synth/workstation market altogether? If they made am analog "CS-5, 10, or 15-mini" (like Korg's MS-20 mini, which are selling like hotcakes) people would definitely buy it. The AN1x is a great synth, was much loved, & sold well. Why not another modeling synth? Something mid-priced like Korg's KingKorg would be cool, or even an affordable VA synth like the MicroKorg. (which selling EXTREMELY well & is STILL in production since 2004) "FM Synthesis" has a diehard following & Yamaha has always been the undisputed king of that realm. Why not a new FM synth &/or DX remake? (I know people would buy them!)
Yamaha will always do well w/their acoustic instruments. But as for as synths are concerned, I really don't know what (if any) plans Yamaha has for the future, which is currently looking rather dim.
Gerry No what do you think of the new Montage 8? Thanks. great to see you here pal!
Dynamite Kid, I too... am interested in what he thinks. For I also , am a big fan of Yamaha product's.
haha i love this video
it has some really generic name like Short String.. or String 2 or something. i'll have to dig it up
cool
I WISH I COULD SEE WHAT YOUR RIGHT HAND IS DOING :(
