- Welcome back to Lethal Company! In this video we check out the new update which adds some crazy new things to the game. The main thing is a brand new Truck called the Company Cruiser, this vehicle is basically just a bomb to blow up your teammates. It's absolutely impossible to drive it but it's really fun to mess around with. There are also 2 new enemies which are both very strong. ENJOY!

So here is some info on the barber for those who want to know:
Its most common spawning planet is dine (around 13%)
It apparently is a pack creature with there being a leader one (So far has only been seen with one at a time I think)
Every 2 or so seconds it moves into a random direction and will give chase to players
It is completely invisible unless you get up close to it (hence on how it randomly appeared in front of psycho )
Any employee who even grazes the scissors its holding will be instant killed and cut it half (Only the top half can be retrieved)
The players can easily out run it and it is very loud so very rarely can it actually sneak up onto players (psycho was being chased, so it had a much easier time sneaking on him as well as it being the first time they encountered it face-to-face)

Apparently the kidnapper fox can only have one spawn on each moon, so thats “somewhat” of a balancing factor.
As for the other enemy, that would be the “barber”. Very interesting type of enemy.
He has to balance it out more

They need to fix that thing I needed to go in truck but the fox was just waiting in the truck so I waited for whole a minute for it to move so then I decided Jump over it then it woke up and grabbed me with its tung and killed me 😡
The kidnapper fox is a cheater monster, very strong, fast, hard to kill

Brackens are so broken They sometimes kill you when you literally see them face first and they happen to move around a corner, making the game think you did not see them when you actually did see them.
The slime also has problems as it sometimes gets stretched and glitches around and the hitbox expands exponentioally and still touches you / causes you to die.
Brackens only get angry at you when they stand still, and if they chase you immediately p, it won’t last long as their anger meter would be low. Just watch an ai video on it. They are pretty simple.
The slime stretching happens when it’s on a narrow path.

We can all laugh at the ridiculousness of the cruiser, however as Insym has stated if you can’t drive it on all maps what’s the point of it? I just hope it’s accessible on that one planet you mentioned. Oh my goodness the belly laughs were real in this and I look forward to the bug fixes. Thank you for the content Insym have a fab day 😁
The purpose might be that, to be useless, the dev was probably annoyed at people asking for a vehicle when every map is clearly built for foot travel and did this to shut them with a "technically it's a vehicle"

Tbh it doesn't look that useless if you can just go over trees directly to the main entrance. If you have a lot of loot, then it would save a lot of time walking back to the ships
If you hit a tree it makes the cruiser take damage and its too big to use on any forest map@thatobject6610

The truck needs a buff. On Rend, it took me the entire trip to get the truck to the facility. I lost all of my gas and the truck's engine lit on fire. Either it needs to be easier to control, needs more gas, or the moons need an a total rework to make the truck viable. I love this idea so much. I think having a vehicle to carry large amounts of loot safely back to the ship is a genius idea. Perfect for the late game. But as of right now, the truck is unusable. I don't even mind if it's more expensive. It just needs to be useful.

After getting the truck we had a weird glitch where the host was immune to damage (one of the fox mobs couldn't kill the host neither could quicksand), we had dsync'ed truck positions on a map (the host saw it attached to the ship but everyone else saw it on a ledge and i died trying tonl retrieve it) and when we tried taking off from a planet the ship wouldn't leave and the switch would say "waiting for ship to land"
The Kidnapper Fox seems way too annoying to deal with. I think mainly because on the surface it doesn't have an easy weakness
Tbh nerfing its health would make it exponentially easier to deal with, even takes too many hits from a shotgun to die
After some of my own testing, it acts like a coilhead. If you watch it, it backs off. Otherwise it goes straight for you
I definetly agree, sure maybe its a skill issue but you barely have time to react when you are the one sitting in the ship. You cant even cheese it by hiding behind behind an object as after some time it just comes to you and kills you, where it then proceeded to stay in the ship.
Another Issue is that it spawns INSANTLY, so your friends go off into the facility and you die to the fox while your friends didnt even enter the facility.
It’s still beta the bugs will get fixed
It will be balanced soon, this is a beta after all. My only problem with it is that it can beeline for the ship at the start of the day and there isn’t much you can do to counter it.

From like 1:53:15 to 1:53:20 you could see the bracken behind the fence but nobody seen it or mentioned even Insym didn't until he appeared 5 seconds later in his face which I thought was funny.

admittedly the mechanics behind USING the truck is interesting. It just....blows up too easily....
Though im not sure how useful it would be even if it didnt blow up so easily since i imagine dogs would dive it instantly and either destroy it or just kill you.

or they are bug fixes but i havent seen them
Zeekers does bulk updates and bug fixes afaik. He's just one person so it takes longer to fix some things by himself.

There's a lot of weird ambient sounds that play at random. Some of those are laughter. It isn't anything, just a random noise programmed to play occasionally to spook ya a bit.

It's a fairly logical train of though to test weed spray on bees, most sprays at all will harm or kill insects, let alone sprays which have harmful chemicals.
Tbh The truck became boring after a few minutes, a shame there are no moons where it can be used to its full potential.

Welp they pushed the new update to the public branch now as update v56 and the truck is still just supreme ass 😅, oh well maybe one day or maybe we'll never get it and just keep walking/jetpacking
Is it out now or still Beta? I won't touch a buggy mess where mods could break almost anything and the gameplay isn't fully fleshed out yet.

Hard disagree, Minecraft has enough people playing it with “horror” mods in it. Most of the current spooky mods are literally just boring jump scare mods like: Here is a creature that screams loudly at you and books it towards you. Very boring tbh.

I think this has been the best and worst update of all time in Lethal Company. I mean we all know, Zeekers can take negativity feedbacks because he is a solo dev. And without feedbacks, like Insym said, Lethal Company will stay as the worst game. I really hope that he fixes some of the bugs
The company cruiser truck is a fun addition BUT i really don't think it fits in the game. It is just like a modded instead of being a vanilla thing
bought this game played it twice with friends now all they play is modded and i hate them for it, modded if fun sometimes not every fucking time you launch the game
Insym plays it modded too. Most people play with at least some mods.
