KDK M60SG (2011 to present) is a replacement model for the short lived K15P7 2008-2010. It's newer version for KY153 and K15P7. It does not use a hexagonal motor cover from K15P7. It also has a 48 inch size M48SG.
I'm glad I still have those 2 KDK K15V0 installed in my house since 2012 (1 in the kitchen and the other one in the laundry room) and they still run perfectly fine for 9 years.
@@TheKDKCollector True, this is why I recommend my family to buy KDK and Panasonic when it comes to fans and electronic appliances (Panasonic only). Matsushita Electric was known for their reliability and long lasting quality for decades. Because I still see some people using KDK and National fans from the 1970s to early 2000s and National air conditioners from the 1990s to early 2000s.

very nice! my friends house had this fan. The blades used for this K15VO are also used on the 1st batch of KDK M60SG, which is why i think they are similar
Thanks! That's cool, yeah the first iteration M60SG also uses the same blades. However I like the M60SG more, because the motor cover design reminds me of the KY153, one of my most favorite KDK ceiling fans!
Wow! Yep I've seen Singaporean fans in Malaysia too (especially in Johor Bahru), and vice versa. And ofc the M60SG would be dominant, after all it's the Singaporean Domestic Market model.

Does its downrod come pre-assembled too like the K15P7? AFAIK the K15P7 comes with a pre-assembled downrod, whereas its twin sister K15V8 doesn’t.

yes i agree this fan is highly common in malaysia, and it was so common that some made its way to Singapore. But the majority here is still the M60SG
