This is the reason why I always loved and respected stop motion animation over any other forms. The amount of detail and dedication is amazing. The first Wallace and Gromit film took him six years to complete 29 minutes and he managed to scale it down to 14 months for a film that was almost quadruple the length.

@Salmonella Poisoning It actually took 15 months, and from what I've heard that was because of the amount of demands they got from DreamWorks, with each meeting so many changes were demanded to make it "More American" and such, Aardman said going back to work for the BBC with A Matter Of Loaf and Death was like a dream because in all of the production time, the BBC only requested 1 minor change

@Salmonella Poisoning What was said before was more or less correct. It took 14 months to finish, which is quite fast because they had a bigger production team to work with. The very first film A Grand Day Out took 6 years to complete because it was mostly just Nick Park doing all the work. I have the deepest respect for his dedication and creativity.

Grandma bought “Grand Day Out” for our daughters. The whole family fell in love with Wallace and Gromit. We still have everything they and their crew did and still watch them even though I’m now 57 and mom is 51. My wife has a “Shawn” (the sheep) on her dashboard which does inspire conversations in parking lots.
Please never stop. Your passion is appreciated, cheers!

The older UK DVD collection home video versions did their jobs better than the new current DVD versions.
The older UK versions have higher pitched audio which sounds a lot better and epic comparing to the newer current versions having the audio lower pitched which sounds horrible, out of place and doesn't help keep continuity with the later films.
Which I'm hearing the Wallace & Gromit Theme song lower pitched which I'm dissatisfied.
So yeah, the older UK home video versions did their jobs.

What happened to the train from the original walls and grommet series? The penguin episode? Whatever happened to that train? Did you sell it or is it doing someone's collection? Who knows but I want to know

These guys are made of clay right? Thinking about animating them without squashing them hurts my brain.

I am practicing to do stop motion. It is quite time consuming, but I am having fun though...
