- Today I am reviewing the results of my first submission to PSA! I’m not huge on grading cards, but I had never done it before, so I decided to send some cards in for grading! Some cards did really well and some did a bit worse than expected, but overall, it was a great experience! If you want to grade cards, I’d recommend you go to the site and read up on the process. It can be very rewarding as you can see from the video!

PSA vs BGS; From what I've heard, BGS is what you'd want to use for the PC. PSA is more forgiving in regards to being off centered and would be better for resell. BUT this video seems to be the opposite of that lol. So I'm not sure what to think! Keep the videos coming :)
Hey thanks a lot! PSA is def more forgiving. BGS I use for ones in amazing condition cuz a BGS 9.5 is worse then a PSA 10

Solid collection there and very nice grades, congrats! I don't know much about the basketball but that Deshaun Watson really pops in a PSA holder, very sharp looking card. I think grading if nothing else is great for preserving some of these treasures. Thanks for sharing the video!

So PSA is really tough on mfg defects? That’s a bummer I dugout my collection from mid 90’s early 2000’s and have an amazing looking 1993 Jordan Stadium Club 1st day issue #169 and it has just a little of the 1st day issue stamp showing through. ‘Ve seen one with the same defect grade a PSA 10 bit I’ve also seen a few that didn’t grade a 10 it’s a tough choice the centering is tricky too. I’ve never submitted before but I have some rare MJ’s and Kobe fleer rookie sensations and a star power plus 2nd year but I worry about centering. Would you hold off on the Jordan? It is very minty but that small stamp imprint showing through on the back has held me up. Thanks for all advice. *🔥 subs btw love that Luka!
thats really cool about the jaren galactic, get yourself some perfect fit graded sleeves they are so clear and do not look all baggy , great cards! they made a funny noise when u pulled them out of the box they came in lololol

Hello what's up Pac-Man great video man congratulations on that Luca 10! I have never graded before either but plan to soon. PSA is what I am thinking of doing even before I saw this video. PSA specializes only on grading and authenticating autographs! Beckett does All the Above including pricing! I just got one question what slab look style do you prefer the Beckett slab or the PSA slab?
Possibly you can do a video sometime about packing cleaning and whatever else you may do before sending in!

From forums I've read, those indurations/dents in the 2018-19 Prizm cards are considered normal by PSA. They wouldn't affect the surface grade.

A PSA10 for me is always the nicest thing in collecting.

I have seen some PSA 10's that would be lucky to get a 9 from Beckett.. And I see that way more often than I do the other way around.. I have been getting cards graded for years now, and without a doubt Beckett is more stringent than PSA.. I would take a quad 9.5 or better from Beckett over a PSA 10 any day of the week.. Not to mention PSA does not sleeve their cards and the cases are cheap compared to Beckett which drives me nuts!! Lol !! Good video though man, those are some sweet cards :)

You mentioned the top centering on a couple of different panini prizms cards. What exactly are you referring to with that? What visual marks are you using to judge the vertical centering? Thanks and nice sub!

Did your Luka 10 have any print lines on the back they look like scratches that run across card..Just checking to see if it effects the final grade.

I have a quick question. I hear you mentioning about off-center. Is that something that you just look at other cards that have good grades and compare your cards to theirs? I am looking at potentially buying some Luka prizm raw for a fraction of the price of buying a PSA 10 outright. Would you say the smartest is just to compare pictures to try and get a good idea?
That’s a good way. Cards with borders are easy to tell too without a comparison

PSA is really sketchy... 9's on the slivers prizm, lucky 10 on the optic holo but the centering on the back of the card was a little bit off and still got a 10. Why not 10's on the prizm slivers ? PSA SUSPECT FOR KEEPING THE POPULATION DOWN !!!

@@Ruxin34 I actually came across a huge lot of yugioh cards from FB marketplace. some lady was selling her kids collection over the last 12 years. I got an entire book each in a sleeve and it probably has around 1200 or so, good condition. A few blue eyes white dragon and dark magician etc in there + a lot more. So your channel hopefully can tell me if i got any good ones and any worth grading! thank you
I heard from most people that when grading cards with PSA, if your PSA is 10 than on Beckett it will be 9.5. Like PSA 9 be Beckett 8.5

I only like autograph or patch auto graph cards I had a box of my bet rookie and patch cards had like 30 cards in it a Jason terry jersey card with his Arizona jersey my older brother stole them. Tom Glavine refractor jersey numbered David Ortiz bar and Jersey numbered some Shawne Greenes

im still so pissed at my self, when optic first came out i got a monster box or whatever there called from walmart, in 3 packs in a row i pulled a silver luka, siler lebron, then i think a purple? luka and i ended up selling both lukas to a guy for like 100 bucks then the prices on all optic skyrocketed litterally weeks later

Hey packman, love your channel. I had a question, I'd really love to have a psa 10(or I suppose bgs10 but that would be expensive) Zion, ja, and luka prizm rookies, but not sure the best way to acquire them. Would you suggest buying raw cards and hoping to submit them and get a good grade, or buy them graded already? I'm not a great judge of what a card would get just by looking at it though so I'm really not sure what to do. You can buy like 3+ raw cards vs a psa 10, so I feel like going the raw route could save a lot of money?? You said in your video 'i expected to get a 10' on this, how did you know exactly what to look for? Thx!
You can get raw and grade but look closely at the centering, surface, corners, and edges for issues

You have to switch to the perfect fit slab sleeves. Take a look, waaaaaaaaaayyyyy better looking, and they don’t get crinkled, as those ultra pros will.

Very nice! Check out Perfect fit sleeves on eBay. They work awesome on PSA slabs - they are tight around the slab. I’ll I shared it on my recent PSA reveal. PSA grades Front of Card harder then back or card jsyk. And imo they judge corners harder then BGS. Nice cards - congrats on the sub! SICK BAGLEY BRO

Sending multiples to be graded, if you can, is a trick to get a 10 grade. Them seeing more than 1 example usually helps the best example to get 10 👍

been planning to send out a bunch of my cards to psa as well just not sure how to securely pack them to do so
I used sleeves inside semirigid holders and put them between cardboard
Look up "PSA Collector" on TH-cam. He has a video on how to pack them.

You have it backwards, Beckett is much harsher on centering then psa is. Psa is more strict on corners but very lax on centering, and Beckett is usually more strict on centering but easier on corners.
