I've never heard the rumor about Japanese eating whale!
The difference between losing your wallet in Japan and losing it in America is that here, there's a chance someone will mug you for it (beat you and take it from you). Not everywhere of course -- but I think that's what people are comparing it to.
The one that surprised me was Japanese breakfast! Would you please do a video on bread breakfast if you get the time? If not, no pressure. I'm glad for everything you share here. Once again, thank you so much for your hard work.

4:43 I've never heard of this misconception in my life.

3:38 Yeah, so I think the reason sushi's connoted with Japan might be because it's a Japanese food and that it's eaten in Japan far more than in any other country.

Wow! The Japan I heard of back in the 1990s was very different. Most possibly, this was Japan of the 1960s to early 2000s which I and others heard about in school. People sleeping in futon on tatami mats, sitting in seiza position which is known as vajrasana in Sanskrit etc.. While many of these things may still be in practice in traditional areas of Japan, what you are telling is very different from what many of us here in the west heard about Japan.

Yes, things have been drastically changed. If I find other misconceptions, I will make another video😎

@@JapanwithNao But at the same time, I see pictures of places which were made to have an old time traditional Japanese appearance.

@@skanthavelu You are right. People want what they don't want, so our life gets more modern, we also miss traditional ones.haha

@@JapanwithNao I would love to experience being in a traditional Japanese house. Unfortunately, there are not many Japanese living here in Edmonton and surrounding areas and the nearest traditional Japanese garden is in Spruce Grove. My best bet really would be to go to Vancouver or Victoria as both cities have a high Japanese and Japanese Canadian population. Even better to come to Japan.

I like a traditional Japanese house too. Well, my house is traditionally one though...haha The Garden in Spruce Grove is cool. I didn't know that!
We are waiting for you to come to Japan once the border opens for any tourists again( ^ω^ )

1:21 Obviously it is. Ubelievably safe by planetary standards. The fact that lost wallets are not always returned ain't gonna make that a misconception, my friend.

0:20 Obviously it is. Dozens of countries qualify as high-tech' and Japan's right near the toppa the list. Cash and stamps ain't gonna change that, my friend.

My favorite Japanese anime is Chibi Maruko chan as well as Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. I also like Pokemon. There are other animes which I liked as well. But those are the main ones. Aside from the Japanese cartoons, I also like jidai geki, especially ones set during the Edo period.

Thank you for your comments. I also watched all anime you mentioned. Dragon Ball was my highlight when I was young. Talking about Jidai Geki, I've never experienced...If you have watched it already, you are way more familiar with Japanese culture than me٩( ᐛ )و

      Nahhhh, that's too bad...
You are right. The most annoying thing about losing a wallet is cards😰
We need to issue again, which is tired of...
