What is the model number for the tow hitch you installed, who makes it and where can it be purchased online? The only ones I can find seem to install beneath the bumper.
Kindly enlighten us as to exactly how you are going to access the wiring harness without removing any trim, or mount the bar without taking off the bumper, o master of spanners. Plus, the Hayman Reese retails for $200 more than the genuine article.
IMO, the outlander towbar sucks big time. In 50 years of driving and towing trailers, this is the absolute worst tow bar for for stricking the ground on just ordinary domestic driveways. The car has excellent ground clearance, but the towbar is the worst I have ever experienced. It needs a redesign. Perhaps cut a notch into the rear bumper so the tongue can be raised, & use a solid thick flat tongue rather than the 2" square section.
@@elmel7896 Except for when you come to a change in gradient. Then, the departure angle is very poor, even worse if the the tow tongue is in place. Even though the level ground clearance is very good, it's all undone by the rear overhang & low protruding tow tongue. It's the worst designed tow-bar I have seen in over 50 years of towing all sorts of trailers.
A very good and to the point video, needs more on electrical connections please
Professionally and so smooth action 😊
Brilliant video, thanks very much for making it!
Just bought an outlander. Good video
Hi, where did you buy your tow hitch? Thanks
cutting out the panel with the metal shears is a good idea. I will do the same.
安装的又快又漂亮,点赞👍
Thankyou, very helpful.
Hey! I think I found Waldo!
Obrigado aqui do Brasil 👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Look Great can you tell me the brand please men.
Is this similar to a 2010 Outlander?

I bought it from Mitsubishi. It comes with wires. It was cheaper than buying from online. Thank you for watching my video.
It's hard to see in the video, but it looks like the sticker on the towbar says MZ350052. Is that correct?
I dont suppose you know the length of the M8 bolts? Got a towbar from a wrecker thats missing the 6x M8 bolts.
What did you / he attach to the battery terminal???
Connected power supply for trailer.
Why drop the muffler? Seemed unnecessary
I try it without dropping the muffler. I couldn’t put the tow bar frame without doing it. Thank you for watching.
@@crazydiy12 thank you legend
The Hayman Reese is a better design. You don’t need to disassemble half of the car to fit it, and it’s 1400kg rating

It looks like the hitch receiver in is on the same level as the spate tire , so there is no clearance loss.
