There is no way to compare a programmer that costs 7000 euros with taxes included with another that costs 250 euros.
I mention that the original Scanmatik is a very good programmer that equals the performance of the flex programmer.

Minute 8, the reason it takes longer is because until 75% it is not actually reading the ECU but creating a dummy file with 0xFF for the first sections. The actual reading goes from 75%-100%. Flex is definitely slower.
Also, for write operations Flex first checks ECU block checksums and doesnt overwrite them if they are the same as the target file, and that is why you think it is faster (because you are writing the exact same file you just read), but again, it is not.

I try to read 2013 VAG Polo 7GV ECM on bench with SM2 Pro but it only identify successful but fail to enter programming mode ? I have 12,8V as power supply. I know there is nothing wrong with SM2 pro as I read and write Mahindra EDC16C55 change flash and eeprom data and it work 120%
SM2 clone is slower, ok it's not a big deal. But does it result in the very same downloaded (read) file? Did you check them with some binary compare tool? 🤔
I love my KT200, done newer cars with it without problems :)

Have kess,ktag and mpps clones also, just to save time on older ecu's with offline.

Nice video. Getting Bosch ECU pinouts is very easy. when i do a search for an ecu pinout using the part number i do not get that many hits like Ford PCM150F ecu. Can you help by sharing information on how to get the model number and make of an ecu?
Good video, but the time is not the problem, the problem is flex files are encrypted you can't edit it but pcm files decrpted you can edit it, please explain is this correct
I don't understand what you mean by this comment. What Flex reads is exactly what the other programmers read and all the same. And by your statement that the data cannot be modified, this is not true.

First question is what programmer did you do this writing with.
I wrote these ECUs many times even with FC200 and I had no problems. I copied flash and Eeprom after writing I used the ECU clone option. At VAG ECU This ECU clone option must be used.
The second question is: did you read the data from the ECU after it stopped starting and compare them? Have you read in Bench or BDM?
With so many tools it’s hard to pick one. This one or kess clone?
If you want to buy clones you have to buy both.
What kess can do you can't do with SM2 pro and what SM2 can do Kess can't do.

Hello,
Autotuner has only one advantage, namely you don't pay for the update. You buy it and you can always update it. The downside to this is that you can't read the Dump separately like you can with other programmers. It cannot read Flash and Eeprom separately. For me this was a drawback and led me to choose the Flex. At the moment the Kess V3 is cheaper than a Flex but I was disappointed by the people at Alientech when they no longer allowed you to update the Kess V2. I consider this disrespect towards its customers because when you buy a product you want to use it more and not be forced by the company to change it when they want. Another reason that led me to choose Flex is the lifetime warranty of this product. Another advantage I had with flex was that when I was reading Japanese cars via OBD, many programmers barely had the protocol activated to be able to read in Bench or Boot.
This is just my opinion and my experience.

When I connect my sm2 pro and go to I'd ECU the first tab opens where you hit yes for the auto power part mine fails after I hit yes . Any idea why this could be ?

yes it can do it but not on all ECUs. Don't forget that this variety was cloned by the Chinese many years ago.

flex writes fast couse it skips sectors. kt200 makes this ecu faster than flex.
