Honestly I try to limit the produce I buy from China, my plasters were made in Spain, my antiseptic cream produced in UK, obviously some items are of Chinese origin but like I say I try to limit it. China is flooding the west with cheap goods in an attempt to destabilise our economies. Places like Temu and Wish etc are running at a loss (even given the labour they use) playing the long game. Internet shopping is already killing the High Street.
Wonderful content. You are giving people great advice, and helping people to find great products . Iv always been a little cautious about these kind of selling platforms. I think that after seeing your recommendations I will give them a try . Thank you so much for your continued support to prepping community.👍🐍
I find Temu is just like buying anywhere else, if you go for the cheapest stuff on there then 9 time 10 you've getting chit, but if you go high end or middle range then the goods are good
I've bought some great gear from temu , a tarp with 19 eyelets that's as good as many of the big names , don't buy gimmick gear I bought a large bag of wound plasters which to honest didn't stick , and read reviews from the U.K 👍
I’m a twat with Temu and spent a couple of £k I buy everything, I’ve got a lovely recurve bow £20 some awesome 18ltr water carriers, bee hives, and a 13ftx9 metal shed lol, all really good quality. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some junk but I just send it back and have never had a problem
Did actually get some of the Israeli bandages from there. It did occur to cherry pick from amongst their items when I've seen the ready made medical kits/survival kits. Why pay a premium for the not so good stuff when you can just get the better stuff at less cost.
Most prepper videos now are informercials or advertisrments , even if they dont advertise directly they run ads , its an epidemic , TEMU is associated with the CCP , not my thing but others may be ok with it
@@StabbinJoeScarborough it’s where this stuff will be produced anyway. If you think giving your money to uk cooperations is any better than going to the same place they do then that’s up too you.
@@UKUrbanPrepper Our stuff , is produced by slaves , I dont have an issue with that , I have an issue with knowingly supporting the CCP And most preppers sooner or later have to make $$ from this , the prepper community has become one big infomercial trying to sell each thier crap its made those videos almost unwatchable , I'll go away now , good luck man !
Golden rule when buying from these types of outlet's, is to buy a small amount first, test it, if good, buy more, if not look elsewhere.
100 percent .
And that sight I do buy one or two items to test it out and then if I like it I go back and buy more. 😊

@@Scoob.The.Wight.Adder. no problem. It is something you have to test the water with. They deffo sell some stuff that’s poor but it’s trial and error.
Thanks for all of that. Working out a shopping list with the better half now.

@@RoyalEngineersVeteran thank you. They do give it random names on temp. But that’s good to know.
Your welcome mate
