You've explained why marbles are found there but why are there so many glass bottles? Do they get chucked in the water after they are empty? Also, what are those crustaceans?
Before municipal trash pickup, people just threw their garbage over the hills or in the rivers. This would be unimaginable now. The crustaceans are called crayfish. They're like small fresh water lobsters. Thanks for watching, and the comment!
