Beautiful Video😍😍!! We need more videos like these that help decolonize the mindset that was brought into us by our colonizer! The future is our path to Pacific Unity.🙏🏾💗

This is so good and I absolutely love the new era of intersectionality in Pasifika representation. We are multifaceted and our stories are worth sharing ❤

Wow! I see these contrasts when I compare my own Polynesian Dance community to my own Samoan family experience. Two totally different worlds 😢 Thank you for this ♥️

This is truly a love letter and a documented treasure that represents our silent struggles, the “ism’s” we face but also how all Moana women are innovate adapters and are resilient trailblazers!! Thank you to all those that worked on this project - this is the type of media that is informed & well deserved to go viral in our Moana cyber spaces ❤️

I’m blessed my mother taught me and showed me to be comfortable in my own skin and I’m being myself. But yes I cannot control things around me or how people view me. There are times it brings me down but I remember who I am. Love this documentary and thank you for making this it’s really crucial to all young girls in the Pacific 🙏🏽

This is such a beautiful documentary, but it’s incomplete. The video should’ve include our Micronesian sisters. I am from Hawaii and the discrimination here in Hawaii against the Micronesians is very crazy. Even from our own, Polys. They call them Micronesians roaches and all the nasty names they can think of. To be honest, they are beautiful people and they’re just like any of us, Pacific Islanders, trying to survive in this modern world while holding onto their roots. So we want to hear their side of their story being a Micronesian woman. If it was here in the video, it would’ve been perfect. This documentary is amazing already but let’s include our Micronesians family as well. I mean why not eh? Like who am I to ask such thing.
    Mahalo!

Absolutely!!!! Micronesian experiences especially in Hawaii have been overlooked for TOO long! Breaks my heart hearing it coz here in Melanesia we have Kiribati diaspora who are treated like family

“I think about colourism I think about fat phobia in our communities both of those things depend on how close we are to this thin pale person the way that capitalism and colonialism thrives is off shame
And so we’re made to feel like we’re not enough and so the beauty industry makes billions of dollars off us feeling not enough”

William Herberts Maori Language Dictionary [ It's the Maaori Bible] . Written just before everyone was being split into nations and tongues. Aotearoa has Te Pahtimatanga [ The Beginning] underneath us , Gods palace fortress, Mt Eden prison is top parts of the castle', Museum is an old Maori Whare, before colonial started marae carved houses & huts 🛖, when the Bible floods were organized..
Nb* .can't you remember the story?

Kalash in Pakistan, a bunch of them in Central China, there’s a video that lists them, you can find it on TH-cam. Rare but they maintain!
