you are the only simracer-youtuber who gives real advanced tips for us. hope to race with you one day.
Thx buddy 🤗 really happy to read that !
See you on track 🤛
100% most content consists of ‘stay wide, brake late, apex, accelerate’ this is next level
Man that was like poetry, the way you explain things is beautifully done. You explain everything so clearly and precise. Awesome video thank you 👍
As a sim racer for .... my entire life, this was the first time I watched a video and was like, this guy gets it. Thanks for making this and hope others learn from your wisdom!
Big hug Dave 🤛🤗
This is a brilliant video, so many racers complain. Everyone makes mistakes, mental focus no matter the situation is everything .
Absolutely agree with you 🤛
Appreciate you presenting this perspective so clearly. It centers on patience and care. SimRacing removes the real world possibility of injury and financial ruin, so patience and being careful is difficult for folks to embrace.
For some reason finishing a race cleanly is so much more satisfying to me.
Thx Joe 🤛
For those who race casually is hard to feel there is an actual person in the car around and sometimes is really hard to have full respect! League races are the best to get responsibility 😁
That's why it's so frustrating when race after race gets ruined by people making it 3 wide in T1.
Good luck trying to back out with more try-hards coming in hot.
@@AtomicAndi hahahaj , that’s case too 😁
As a simracing coach myself, i still love when I see a new video because I always learn something myself. Thanks for your no BS attitude and providing these very advanced tips to us all.
Thx Joseph, that is great attitude buddy!
I’m constantly watching everything I can in topic I am interested and always find something new or at least gain more questions in my head and they to find the answers!
We learn our entire life 😃
@@chepilevski As you said in another video, Because we are so motivated to do better, we come up with new questions, its just that, you have done the research and answered them for us already. Certainly the most underated TH-cam channel though. Ahhh I love the Simracing world. Keep up the excellent work and you'll be bigger than the Jimmy Broadbents and the like.😉
I'm not into sim racing, but you explain things in such a peaceful way it brings some peace to me. Thank you
Thx for the kind words and support buddy 🤛
very glad i found your channel, great solid advice that has helped me a lot. The idea of matching your real life hands with VR hands made such a huge difference in how i felt in the car and made me a lot more comfortable
Thx buddy 🤛
I really like point number 4. If I'm behind someone at my pace, I do my best to wait on them to make a mistake, but I need to get better at finding strategies to *cause* mistakes.
Човече наслаждавам се на всяко видео което правиш, а симулатора който си изградил
е .... лудница БРАВО
Mersi bratle 🤛
This video opened my eyes so much to how to think about racing. Thank you.
GREAT advice brother! I've been putting your concepts and theories into my race craft and I can honestly say I've seen a measurable improvement in my racing. I make mistakes but a lot fewer and even better is the amount of control I've gained in those circumstances. I will intentionally hot lap and try silly moves that will force me out of "control". The intent is to control the car in less than ideal situations and your practices have helped me to learn how to forget about lost time, focus, look ahead of me to take advantage of the situation and to manage my weight transfer to give me the greatest control for smooth re-entry. Your vids are so inspirational, keep 'em comin'!!✌😎
That was good read 😃
Thx Ted 🤛
Amazing advice. Especially the last bit about chat. I always keep race chat disabled and only chat with my teammates
Thx Dan 😃
Контента който правиш е на МНОГО високо ниво!
Браво!
this advice is on another level. I've just started my sim racing journey, I hope I get there someday.
Please everyone keep your mics on, that's the funniest part of the race :)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of the best simracers content creators. Watching your content is like watching a movie. Now we demand longer videos lol
Thx brother 😃
@@chepilevski haha you welcome bro
I agree on... every single point you made, good video
Thx buddy 🤛
I can remember asking a guy on chat how he could sleep at night with the way he had taken me out. All before I watched the replay. Then having watched the replay I had to apologise profusely and publicly because I realised he had done nothing wrong. I learned my lesson . I always watch the replay. And by then I usually have calmed down.
Nothing beats a good fair door to door fight in racing 😃Great video as always buddy!
Absolutely Davor 💪
I prefer to lose a race in great battle instead of winning boring one 😃
The biggest thing I’d add to all of this, which is visible here too... These skills are a lot easier to work on in slower cars. This video is all in the mx5 for a reason.
Absolutely, many people skip those cars because they want to drive the monsters but those slow cars will teach them so much more about close racing and different lines !
Yeah MX5s or Ginetta GT5s are great to learn close racing and are actually super fun to drive as well.
Definitely agree! Spent some time in BMW GT4 and it was game changing when I got back into GT3 racing
I loved your number 1 point. It is exactly for that reason that I have never run voice chat. not only do i not want to hear others poor opinions, but i dont want to be tempted to vent. I admit I have typed in a few comments after being blatantly stuffed, but i just dont want to hear people complaining like children.
Thx buddy 🤛
you are a natural teacher .. you should take on private clients 1-1 and mentor people with the same attitude, teach them what you know. Like driver 61 for Jedi 🤣
😁 thx Mark ❤️
I think I’m mostly contagious 😁😁😁
Thx for the kind post buddy!
So true ! And that's how you can be a little bit faster than a concurent with the same pace. Just need patience, not overdriving and try to push the others pilots to make the mistake. I think the most hardest is the frustration after a mistake or a crash. I need 3/4 laps sometimes to be focus on the race again.
Absolutely agree with you buddy 🤛
Great tips. Guilty as charged on both ends of the last point. Love your channel. Great content keep up the good work.
Thx mate 😁
Same lmao can't even count the number of times I've raged for being sent into a wall on Charlotte Roval last week and each time I started racing like dogass for the rest of the race.
@@SOCIALCREDITSCOREOVER hahaha , i know that feeling buddy !
Chepilevski, you brought up some brilliant points. Thank you for sharing. This is gold. 🏁
Thanks for the kind words Slava 🤛
We could be really good friends. I am a professional driving instructor for road racing and HPDE ( 10 years ) , and do sim racing competitively in my spare time 3 times a week, and your words and advice are right in the zone man. If I don't have the time to articulate a lesson I use your material often!
Wow , thx coach 😃 I’m really glad to see my little work here is useful 🥂
Would be nice to meet you one day !
@@chepilevski We certainly can! Our world is small the passion I have for racing consumes me. I race a lot of ACC leagues, Raceroom, AC, and to a lesser degree I-racing ( most of my close racing buddies use ACC over I-racing out of convenience ) I do love I-racing though! I am always looking for a good race even if im not the winner. It is all about finding those plateau's and going beyond them with people who are driven! The competition sucks you up like a vacuum of speed and everyone improves!
I love your videos. I always learn something new or see it from another perspective.
They way I look at it is to envision the line your opponent is going to or trying to take. If you're defending, you can try to get in the way of his/her line and compromise their exit. If you are attacking, you can time your line so it doesn't overlap with your line and maximize your exit!
I love these tips! And it might be because of confirmation bias. But I do a lot of lmp2 and gt3 simracing but I am not the fastest or a hotlapper. And instead of trying to find time through laps of practice, I take a slippery 70's race or street car on real roads and drive them on edge. I do t learn the upcoming tracks but I have noticed that I can save the car a lot more than the people who are faster than me. And that I don't mind because to finish 1st, first you must finish :)
I have that attitude too buddy! To finish first you have to first finish is very important rule and ignored in sim racing often because it doesn’t hurt financially 😃
I echo that brother, I'm a street racer from the day and had a badass '78 Trans Am that was well known by local PD, LOL. Cheers
Great video mate. Staying in control and not frustrated by moves is the hardest part of racing for me.
You have to see me wen practice hot laps and somebody come out of the pit and ruin my lap 🤣🤣🤣
It’s not easy at all but I just work hard on this and my reaction strongly depends on my current mood 😁
One of more helpful yt sim racing channels imho ...your guidance is very much appreciated!!
Much love brother, thank t means a lot 🤛
I just thought of a great title for your book. "Zen and the Art of Sim Racing". Another awesome video. Great tips!
😁🍻
Nice, I especially liked the truths you told at the end, great observations
definitely a one of top 3 videos every simracer should watch. Great job!
❤️
So much wisdom, it is the most important rule, keep your thoughts to yourself and be a good sportsman 👍
We all lose control and sometimes we don’t even mean it 😁
as always a video of real insight and wisdom. the sort of racecraft you are describing is something i aspire to , but am a long way away from.... The point about voice chat - racing mainly AMS 2 i had no idea it was so toxic!!
Hahah, those chats in random races are really toxic sometimes and I laugh a lot but sometimes they are just annoying 😁
He is the best sim racing content creator, period!
🤭 thx for the support Rohit ❤️
It means a lot brother 💪
Hi! Thank you very much for your videos! I really appreciate it. Bought myself a T300RS GT couple of weeks ago and having so much fun :) but boy is it hard to actually race... Especially I have a problem with feeling the limits of a brake, like its hard to train my muscle memory to remember a point of tyre lockup and also feeling the momentum of the car on track. Still it is so much fun and I'll keep practicing, waiting for your next video! thanks)
Thx for the kind words buddy 😃
I know people by the way who race with that wheel and they told me they can feel everything and are super happy!
I’m sure it is matter of time and at some point you will start feeling the car and the equipment as part of your buddy 😃
Enjoy the journey brother 🤛
Such great advice about racecraft and for me, a wonderful perspective about managing emotions (an area I think many of us need to work on). Great video!
Great, wise advice. 👍🏻 I really enjoy your informative videos. Keep them coming.
Downside of sticking your nose in just a bit is that the other driver might turn in (as you don't have the corner). You're betting on intimidation to get him out of the way, if he doesn't bite and you can't back out anymore. Most leagues will likely give penalty to you for sticking your nose in and quarter paneling the other driver.
I think it's a good tip but important to highlight that you need to be able to back out in case he turns in aggressively because you're never really there.
Yeh
I raced in a league with rules in any overlap you have to keep your line but in other leagues they work on half car overlap before you have the rights on the line !
As you said, is very important to know the rules you are racing with!
Top top top as usual! Seen many great videos but have to admit yours are the top! amount of great advices, in such a condensed manner with such an overall quality is just a big WOW. greetings from Poland and please keep sharing your passion, its trully inspirational! Great job!
Wow , thank you very much for that supportive post buddy! It really means a lot to me ❤️
Awesome tips! They're gonna be useful for me when i have to deal with some of these aggressive monza turn 1 drivers 😄
😁
Yet another great instructional video. Common sense isn't that common. Thanks again 👍
Thx Steve 😁
This is my first time finding your channel and wow. Great content. Thank you.
Thx buddy 😃
Welcome onboard 🤛😁
Great video, thank you for your advises
Great 5 tips maybe we will meet on the track with Mazda mx5 someday
Yeh bro , that will be awesome 😃
One of your best yet, more race craft videos please 👏👏👏👏
Thx Ryan 🤛
Mate great video watching your content has made me a better racer and helped my sim set up
Really appreciate you sharing all
of this

Appreciate the support and the time you take you let me know that mate !
Priceless knowledge please more we need all the secrets.
😁❤️
Just your outlook makes you a legend in my book. Subbed👍
Wow 🤭 thx buddy 🤛
Welcome on board 😁
I agree before I would attack all the time and for the last 2 months on ACC I've been putting pressure and waiting for mistakes since then I went from a 9-12 position to 1-5. 80% of the time the drivers in front buckle with pressure
Yep , cleaver decisions make all the difference at the end 😃
Много любопитно.
За мен т. 4 е черешката на тортата. Определено ме провокира да потърся нов подход в състезанията ми.

The Anthony 😃
Amazing video as always! I learn so much from your videos. After every video I put it into practice and try to improve myself. Quality content
So happy to read that post brother !
Much appreciate it 💪
Hey brother. Had a terrible week and it's so calming to watch your videos. And as if you had known there is a new one. Really good video in m opinion. All those "little" mistakes add up to a big total. Especially to be agressive on your opponents is such a high risk because of your impatiens. In acc after the last update you can ruin you're tires in such a fight that quickly that you're loosing lot of time over the rest of the stint.
Be safe buddy wish you a great evening and as always much love to you and your family. 😘
Hey bro , I hope you will have free weekend and relax a bit! I know your job is hard and stressful!
Take care buddy 🤛
@@chepilevski Thanks buddy. Yeah i hope so as well but on Saturday we got 6h of Bathurst. But at least Friday and Sunday are for my free time.
This is an absolutely brilliant video. Thanks :) 👍

Thx Pedro 🤛😃
Thank you! Awesome!!
All of these drivers are paid actors haha. Great video 👍
😁😁😁
Great tips, & some that made think about my recent races in ACC :)
Good racecraft is so important, & how to mind your own buisness in battles.
But one thing you could also dive into, wish is especially important thriughout a race is consistency, & how to achive that during a race. In particular in strategic battles :)
That is great topic indeed Erik!
Thx buddy 🤛
Great advice buddy.
Thx Tim 🤛
Awesome content bro, really helpful :)
Mersi Gorka 😃❤️
But when I had an iracing subscription, listening to the voice chat was a "game feature" for me and funny :D
I have lot of fun with it too bro 😂
Great advices! 👍
Great tips! Thanks a lot. Your videos help me become less n00b 👌😁
So glad to read that buddy 🤛🤗

Wow , thx buddy 😁
Those are very smart advises from a top driver for sure 👍
Happy to read that brother 🤛😃
@@chepilevski you surely don't remember me with all the followers you have but you gave me some advise when I was thinking to switch from a ps4 to a pc setup a couple of years ago, it costed me a liver but I bought my stuff from what you said and I don't regret it, I am having crazy fun with it! Shame that TH-cam doesn't let posting pictures.. keep influencing us!
@@daijirokatoh3769 hey bro , I remember that and it feels like yesterday 🤭
I was happy you wanted to switch and now even happier it worth the leaver 😁
Happy racing bro 💪
@@chepilevski that's impressive memory bro! I broke my hand at gokart and was off it for a month an a half but now am fully back and putting a LOT of laps on ACC. I will switch to iRacing soon and I hope to get enough pace to see you on track one day 🤞
Thank you from USA :)
Thx Steve🤛
really informative and as great as always !
Cagey veteran. I can relate as I have most of the bad habits.
😁
Cool video thanks.
🤛
Yea the problem is when you were showing your nose they don't know if you are going to back out or divebomb you. While they may be the point in an online race it leaves the car in front no other choice but to defend the divebomb. It's better to lose a tenth than either get punted or pushed off the track. If this were a real race with stewards etc things may be different but not a random online lobby.
Yeh man !
I raced for 5 years in very strict high level championship with 10k $ price pull and penalty was never option for me 😂
I learned to fight very close battles with having in mind to keep my opponents save and push them to make there own mistakes 😃
In random online races I have to admit I experiment more dangerous things just because I’m not afraid of penalties !
You are absolutely right!
Great vid, thanks
Thx buddy 🤛
Wise words mate!
Thx Rob 🤛
wise words brother
🤛
Very good video Chepi :)
Thx buddy 🤛😃
Hello I have a question . Do you remove by specific games like acc , your dashboard ? And if yes how do you make this quickly ? It is not fixed with screws ? Best Regards
No buddy, I don’t !
I got used to watch the screen and prefer the information I’ve got there already I guess because I’m used to it !
Frustration no luck defending bad temper great tips I just left and let them go by better for my temper
I know what you mean 😁
which camera do you use to record in onboard mode? and where did you install it? thank you
I use the GoPro 10 strapped to my forehead buddy!
@@chepilevski congratulations for the videos, great job
