My mate who owns the one in the video would definately agree with your comments, the word Haldex has created nightmares for him, he doesn’t use the VXR much in the winter, he has a little Citroen Xsara for his running around jobs. I’ve always liked the Insignia since GM launched it in the late 2000’s, they did a good and better design job over the Vectra, but that’s just my opinion and taste. Thanks for your comment.
Hi. Parts are getting more and more harder to find especially if you're going to Vauxhall directly for new, I've had a few occasions where they say sorry not available now. There are a number of breakers that specialise in VXR's around and on FB groups etc, not sure if in the future more aftermarket parts will be available although you can get some aftermarket parts.
PSA who now own Vauxhall have deleted loads of lines on parts, not just for the vxr but all insignias. A lot of vxr parts are not made now , so repairing them is impossible unless you find them in breakers but seeing who little vxrs where ever on the road, you will struggle.

Yeah, I've spent thousands on it, currently having issues with Haldex again although I'm not that bothered now, used to its problems. I've upgraded the disks and pads all round, had the calipers fully rebuilt and painted.
My favourite car was my old X reg Vauxhall Vectra.

just bought myself one a white 59 plate .. i have a vectra vxr running 315 bhp but this siggy is quicker and sounds awesome decatted !

They are underrated cars in favour of German cars.
Just took my vxr off the road for an underbody restoration,along with a haldex repair/service while it’s all ripped apart.wish me luck😀

I have the Opel OPC equivalent in Germany and don't have any issues obtaining parts and service through the main dealers.

Not to mention you need really really deep pockets for these things,but that being said,I wouldn’t get rid of mine.
What bits do you need deep pockets for ? Looking at one to replace my 3.0 Jag which has been really cheap

I have the regular insignia 😂 only thing good about it is the interior 🥱 would like a facelift model tho 2.0l cdti good looking motors those
Yes I like the interiors especially, but they look better than the vectra in my humble opinion.
