I'm local and know both the spots you fished. Fished the first one with my father in law last week, we caught tons of browns on comparaduns as well as a brook trout, rainbow, smallmouth, and fallfish.
Hit Penns in Coburn Pa amazing hatches. Check in with Jonas at the Feathered Hook fly shop / bed and breakfast. Awesome guides bamboo fly rod building school. When the drakes are hatching is so cool at the end of the evening you'll have them walking all over you and in your car. One quick question what kind of fishing pack are you guy using. Mine is shot and is going to need replacement. Anyway yet another great video thanks for taking me home. Mike
Hi Mike. Sorry, just getting around to replying to some of these comments... we are using the William Joseph Confluence pack however they have gone out of business so these packs aren't available anymore. The Fishpond Cross Currents chest pack is similar though and a great substitute in our opinion.
That is an interesting choice or great minds think alike. I bought the fish pond about a month ago. Next summer it will get the acid test. I bought a couple tacky fly boxes in an effort to pear down the number of boxes I carry. The dry fly box is coming from N Ireland. With the Pandemic alot of businesses are shut down or way behind. Thanks for responding. Mike
+dutchflyfisher good eyes! Yes he was, except it is a #3. That is the rod he nymphs with. Really glad to hear that you enjoy the videos! Thanks for the support! -Doug
Fin Feeder Flies there was a decent slate drake hatch this weekend. Most of the dry fly action has been best before dark though. Water was a bit higher for this time of year so there was some good movement. It should be a great week! Enjoy!
wow...beautiful water all to yourselves and my favorite hatch SULFURS and then green drakes to boot !
You guys are in a great spot. I have fished that exact spot probably 1000 times since childhood. Have fun and be safe. Keep videos coming

Is that Kish creek?
Don't knock the sucker its a sign the stream is healthy. Suckers need clean cool water and are among the first to die if water is polluted
Interesting fact! Never knew that. Thanks for commenting!
