I havent played the game mutch but I want to make a video of some pro matches. Do you know where I can get a demo file that I can use with your montage tutorial? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hey I got a question. I was able to do most things which you described in your tutorials and really learned a lot about making a fragmovie, thank you :-) . But when I close HLAE and restart Csgo afterwards I still got all the settings from moviemaking. So the mm.cfg file loads automatically and commands like mirv_deathmsg highlight ID still are active after restarting the game. Meaning that players are still muted and my killfeed got the red outline. I always thought all console commands get reset if I close the game and the mm.cfg shouldnt get exectued as it ist no .autoexecute? How do I reset my settings and do I need to do it after every movie making process? Thanks in advance
The cool thing about Vegas is that you can use lots of extra plugins for effects and transitions, im gonna cover this aspect most likely in episode 5. However I can't really say that Vegas is better because I never actually edited in premiere pro

Its pretty much up to everyone, if you want to dedicate more time to have better quality then you could go with recording from demos in slow motion and then record again at normal speed for the sound. If you want the live footage but insane quality (slow motion etc) checkout my last tutorial with mirv_pov command

Bro don't think like that, it s great that you are seeking tutorials to improve. You will make better fragmovies in no time. Here are some tips: make sure to record at 60fps and have the right project/render settings in vegas or the editing software you use. It looks like you have low fps ingame, so you should record from demos since you get more fps in slow motion

Bro i play csgo in 1280x960 res but the thing is i want to record clips in 1920x1080 bcz when i record them in 1280 res then there are blacks bars , do you have any possible way in which i can record (live) 1280x960 res video in 1920 res? ,
if you want to avoid black bars you need to stretch the video in OBS or in the editing software. In vegas you can do this by right clicking on the clip and unchecking maintain aspect ratio

@@arcticfirefly1 you can use HLAE safely to watch demos only, do not attempt to connect on any servers with HLAE enabled, if you want to play CSGO then make sure you did not start CS with HLAE. you can film with preferred software..obs or shadowplay or something else
technically yes, however when you launch it, it will automatically launch csgo in insecure mode and prevent you from joining any servers. But this tool is widely used by all the moviemakers for cinematics and demo recordings. As long as you only view demos when you launch it, it's perfectly safe

I dont think the -insecure option in steam will allow you to get vac banned, however its better to be on the safe side and avoid joining servers

no need to overcomplicate with deleting HLAE, I have it in my PC for years and it's no issue.

yes, but matchmaking demos have 32tickrate and faceit demos have 64 tickrate. check it yourself
