Isn't securing objectives with spirit shackle better than using your auto? Also why you refrain from using it for farm? I think it would be much faster if you use your moves on everything when you know you will get the CD back by the time you engage with enemies.
Securing with Spirit Shackle is definitely better, I just mistimed the last Ray hit. I’ll use Spirit Shackle to farm if I know I won’t need it in the immediate future or if I’m in a big hurry, but I use auto attacks to stack up. That way, if someone does pop up, I’m fully stacked and can put the hurt on while kiting them. It’s an old habit I have from Garchomp that translates pretty well to Decidueye.
