Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Flora Sky using only grass type Pokemon? Well, it's a short question, but with a long answer, get some popcorn and a beverage and hope you enjoy.

Rules of the challenge:
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the Type Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

Will your POC of BDSP be making it to TH-cam or was that a stream only thing I really enjoy those videos it was something different and what got me into the channel unfortunately I was unable to make the live streams due to me working 10hr days and a zero phone policy on the floor

Ice isn't an OC of this game; he's actually a character taken from Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, where he's a member of Team Dim Sun's Sinis Trio (basically the equivalent of an admin).
While boring, his name there does make sense, since you first find him in a snowy place and he attacks you with a Froslass.
Ice is also a person who acts as a 2000s nerd for some reason, calling the PC of Shadows of Almia a noob and also being good enough with technology to construct a trap for Isaac.
As another side note, Puel Town exists in the hack you played and that is also from Shadows of Almia

I highly suggest Pokémon Gaia. It's an amazing game, it genuinely feels like it could be an official game. As for typing, maybe Normal?

Its kinda funny to see someone use Curse several times and then immediately forget the drawback.
Ice is actually a bad guy from Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almnia. I can definitely agree it makes no sense that he used dragons, though.

Man, I remember absolutely LOVING Flora Sky about... too many years ago. I was still living with mom and sis in a whole different city, it was a few beautiful autumn days and I was just chillin with family and playing this. It was dope.
I would love to see RenegadePlatinum or stormsilver. Which mono Type up to you, a lot of them provide solid encounters
Yeah, World love to See rengade Platinum with mono Poison. Pretty rare type to See in a mono challenge and quite good encounters with Venasaur, Drapion, Roserade, Crobat, Tentacruel etc

FLORA SKY!!! I loved this hack, oh my gosh. It was many years ago when I first played it...and I actually just recently got around to replaying it! Awesome to see a hack game being used for a Pokemon challenge other than Kaizo!
30:10 when Braviary used fly against Breelom you could have used sky uppercut, it would have been super cool to watch (it would have landed as it's the principle of "sky" uppercut haha) !!
You could try pokemon snakewood by the way!! It got cool fakemon and an awesome story!! I would NOT recommend a nuzlock on it though as it's a tough game, but seeing you play it would be interesting I think!! 🔥🔥

Why does everyone think team magma specialise in fire types? They specialise in ground types, it just so happens that their most common ground types (being the numel line) are also fire types

you should play pokemon uranium, the type specialty you could do is the steel or fighting types as there are many cool and fun options,

Light Platinum! Not sure what type, it's been so long since I played it, but this is the first and one of the best rom hacks I ever played. Further, it has two whole regions to explore.

SacredGold/StormSilver/GS Cornicles, Uranium, Blazing Emerald, Dreams and Rocket Edition are all great romhacks.
Both Pokemon Reborn and Rejuvenation are both fantastic fangames with a LOT of content and can very much cater to any type of run. Loved the run here!
Love them both but good God trying to do a nuzlocke in either is not an easy feat. I dunno if it's even possible with either game.
Flora SKy is my fav rom hack, it's old but it has a gorgeous imaginative map, everything is so magical.
I highly recommend Pokemon Unbound, it is absolutely the best I've played. Unique starters, multiple difficulty settings, many rewarding side-quests and a daily quest system, the means to make a fully competitive team in a way that feels like a solid mid-point between vanilla tedium and cheaty pokemon editors, gyms and elite 4 with their own unique quirks (the bug gym is mind blowing), all in a very well done custom region. It has Dexnav, it has daily raids, IT HAS A CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK. Its just about everything you could want from a romhack.
It also recently had a massive, major update; a rewriting of the storyline, multiple full route reworks, finishing the quests, making previously unavailable things like the Hoenn megas obtainable, as well as the last couple pokemon that were missing. Even if you tried it before, it is well worth a revisit; the difference between updates is like going from an early beta to a properly finished release.

I would really like a challenge in the Fan Game Pokémon Insurgence and for the type I would like psychic because the first Pokémon you receive is mew and it is also your pixi (to make it challenging maybe try in hard mode and because I want to see mew I personally would allow legendary Pokémon but these two points are just optional).
This would probably be very long because Pokémon Insurance is a long game but it is definitely worth it

I started a casual playthrough of this game about a month ago, only to find out that I was playing the Complimentary Dex version, which changes certain Pokémon like the starters. Wish I knew that's what the *cd* in the file name meant before I started. Oh well, at least I can use this video for reference if need be.
Pokemon Unbound with only Ice-types. There's plenty of them in that game. As for difficulty, its of your choosing.

I'd like to see you attempting a Monotype Nuzlocke in Radical Red. Normal is probably the easiest, and I still doubt you'd be able to win it, given time investment and the difficulty.

Pokémon reborn is getting its final update soon, so when it comes out I think it would be a fun challenge, even if it isn’t a monolocke
I highly reccomend Fool's Gold if you plan on doing more ROM Hack nuzlockes in the future. A new version of every mon, physical special split, and a new update adding the sevii islands and about 200 more pokemon soon

“Will I beat the league my first try” I hope it doesn’t sound rude or maybe I’m just stuck in the emerald kaizo bubble but how about a nuzlocke without stat boosting moves? It’s a huge restriction but can make for complex strategies and increased difficulty if that’s what you want. With that said however, great video. I love challenges of older rom hacks. Not sure if you’ve played Glazed but I played it recently and it was SO GOOD. Keep up the great work
There are a ton of electric types in Glazed and you can even start with a shinx

I'm pretty sure that the reason the Distortion World is called the torn world in this game is due to engine limitations. Distortion World is too long to fit in the drop down. It probably caps at 15 or 16 characters, and editing the code for one drop down bar would be tedious (especially at the time flora sky was made, prior to the rse decomp, which means they would have to trawl through hex code, which, I can assure you, sucks. )

I need a Blaze Black 2 professor oak challenge because I've spent way to long on this route 20 1-2% Bagon. I got a shiny long before a Bagon that hasn't appeared still.
Pokemon Glazed or Blazed Glazed. I don't know if you could nuzlocke the entire game without losing your mind because it's 3 regions full. Two orginal and Johto with some additional areas.

You should try Pokémon Glazed. It completed, so the bugs are minimum.

Ahh, I figured it out. So Pomeg Berries are available pre-badge 1, and I had max EV investment in HP, but because I expedite the process of these videos, I use PKHex and some math to calculate the EXP that I'd get from EV training, and because of that I think dropping those EVs without just using the berries caused that. Good find, I'm surprised I didn't notice that myself otherwise I would've put the berries in the game instead of editing manually.

They're risky because I don't put a boatload of planning into them, it's just funnier that way. These videos are geared more towards comedy and bumps in the road rather than doing challenges as optimally as possible, that's why it's laid back.
