This is a fabulous song - very haunting and atmospheric. In the notes above the album is stated to be "Windswept" and I believe this is incorrect. If I recall right, this song was on the "Boys And Girls" album, ca 1985. Who was the lead guitarist on this. Was it Dave Gilmour, or Mark Knopfler, or A N Other? I seem to remember that Gilmour worked a lot with Ferry in the 1980s, also remember that Mark Knopfler played on one or two songs on the Boys And Girls album.

I first heard this song in the Miami Vice Seaon 2 opener "The Prodigal Son" a Smash of Smash of Smashes and when it comes on it sets the mood cementes the scene and solidifies almost he whole episode!
H Davies connected but LM locked on and started Tampering with process including the Optical Matrix Scanner program, I gave her Mw RoM album, but next day in HR was last. At Didcot police station with PC Masterman (not related I think to Lizzy Masterman from Motorola) at interview a told PC I gave cd to HD, he replied no they said I gave it to Lily N ?????. Anyway I caught up briefly with HD on social media & KJ proposed.

David Gilmour played lead guitar on Windswept. Most likely some Neil Hubbard as well; he played on it on tour.
