I'm glad Luke Richardson got his injuries at a young age, because his ability to heal from it will be incredible compared to someone 5 years older than him yaknow? I'd love to see him win WSM. Same with Kane Francis, he's got huge potential.
I think too many strongmen overtrain, overeat or eat incorrectly, and don't get enough rest, at least compared to Mitch. Also, I think Mitch's degree and following the scientific literature has helped him immensely.
Dumbells for trey is good for him. He was first last giants show Then i can see him struggle for farmers. Yolk i can see him hold it but steady to the line which can be good against others that will drop it Herc hold is in the air for him. Deadloft for reps he will do great. First or third Stones he will take first. So either 1st or second for him. He just needs to not drop points on the yolk farmers medly
Hooper definitely wins the competition, but Trey won't make it easy for him. Still, it will be pretty insane if Hooper wins all giants live of the year. No small feat, on par with a WSM title I'd say.
Definitely not. Most of the guys doing Giants live don't make it out of the groups at WSM and none of the best guys peak for these shows. It's very different from WSM standard or any major title standard to be completely honest. Still massively impressive given Mitch has done this whilst also winning the major titles too, barring WSM. No small feat, arguably might never see it again.
Hoopers gotta be the favourite but will he be feeling the pressure as some other good competitors in this line up and hooper puts a lot of expectation on himself winning where as top three is still great
I still love to watch Mitch but damn is it boring to see him win everything, the last show that was a true fight where I wasn't looking at 2nd or 3rd and actually cared about 1st was 2023 SMOE. Aside from that Mitch has either dominated or got slightly injured (worlds this year).
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Luke Stoltman finished third. He’s looked like he’s getting back into better shape and overall looked pretty solid at the last comp. Without some of the other big players (Tom, Evan, Oleksi), I feel like he could come in and make it to the top 3. Really feel like it’ll be Hooper, Trey Mitchell, and then toss up for third, but I could see it being Stoltman
Mitch hands down to win but if Luke has more confidence in himself and not worry about injuries i will put him second 3rd is a toss up between 3 or 4 if Trey can get over his grip problems and not lose to many points i will give him 3rd
Definitely don't want anyone to get injured. That's the only way to beat Moose at the moment. I hope Trey can seal 2nd. Keep his name in the running for Rogue of someone else falls out.
I really don’t agree with that. He didn’t win the World Tour Finals last year, and this year every major comp has had guys pull out from injuries. Only the last couple shows have had Trey Mitchell, none of the Giants live have had Thor (who still seems to be coming back from the pec tear), Tom and Evan have had issues with injuries. Luke Stoltman and Novikov have gotten injured this year also. I really think it’s less that he has to get injured to be beaten, and more that the other top players have to stay healthy to have a chance at beating him
I'm gonna say: The Canadian alien The ER/A&E regular The man with the greatest last name south of the equator. Trey can definitely push Mitch but this is a very grip heavy comp and that's his biggest (probably only) weakness. Jaco however is weak on stones, so while I think he can come 3rd, his stones may cost him a podium position.
Honestly I get the same vibes as you guys. Not only are we getting sick of Giants Live but theres more exciting contests next month. Especially with %$#$# Mateusz competing at the Magnus Classic. But I will still follow the contest results.
I think it's Mitchell Hoopers to lose. He's too good now, not sure if I like it or not. As you know the nr 1 spot for every competition he turns up at. I will be watching. I think Roman Grekov will do great on the dumbbell other than that I have no idea in this lineup. The podium will be consist of Mitchell Hooper and im not sure who else. Would assume Trey and I want him to do well, but he has previously had some inconsistencies. Don't think this type of grip work is what hes weakest on. Its the really heavy frame carries hes really struggled with.
I think Luke Stoltmans best chances at future wins or podiums are Europes and Britans. When the rest of the world come to play he looses out too much. 1. Mitch 2. Trey 3. Kane
I hope Pa doesn’t get invited anymore unless he earns it with an OSG performance or something else. There’s too much talent these days to waste a spot on Pa
A disappointing line-up for "finals" but I guess most people are saving themselves for the Rogue Invitational. Think I'll skip this and just the results online if I remember
@@janoycresva276 true. Tom was also better than Mitch last year at SMOE and Rogue in my opinion. Everyone knows Tom is a better log presser so that was bad luck at SMOE. And at Rogue's Hooper won only because of that ridiculous sled pull (Even Luke got more points than Tom on it). And Tom of course beat Hooper comfortably in the Giants Live shows as well last year.
Mitch is nowhere near the record in either wins or podiums. Loz and Liz did a video on this just the other day. Big Z is so far ahead of him it's not even funny.
Ragg didn't in Vegas. Should he be binned too? Luke is reigning Europe strongest man and wsm finalist ahead of trey in group, of course he deserved an invite when they were made.
@wichitalineman86 Ragg has underperformed this year as well. Luke hasn't been competitive in top tier shows in a long time. Europe's strongest man's competition was not top tier dude lol
Before that 470kg, Trey wasn’t known for 1 rep max. He was better for reps. That was out of nowhere which was why his was the lift of the comp
For real. I don't think I'd seen him hit over 420kg on any bar until that. Amazing! Lift of the year!
Love you guys . Watch every video think it's great 👍
@@presqueisle69 thank you 😊
Love your reviews guys!! Keep em coming!!
Love these reviews! Keep up the good work, my only feedback is try to get it out a bit sooner, and there are so many prediction videos I can watch 😂
Everyone hates deadlift suits, but people love big numbers.. :/
Very true

That's a good point. Get a hangnail after 30, and you'll retire early. The body is stupid like that.

Trey and mitch in the same comp is confusing some times...
1. Mitchell
2. Hooper
1.Hooper
2. Mitchell
Either way mitch wins lol
You’re wrong man, I got Mitchell at 1 and Mitchell at 2
You put them together and it's Mitchell Mitchell.
Hooper definitely wins the competition, but Trey won't make it easy for him. Still, it will be pretty insane if Hooper wins all giants live of the year. No small feat, on par with a WSM title I'd say.

If Mitch is healthy and on form...no one stands a chance.
Predictions are tough! I got it right at this year's Arnold's. Only time in my life 😂
Get rid of suits in strongman. It's a joke.

It is good to see one man dominating and moving away from the pack like those in WSM pudzian era.
@@stebinmathew1371 why might I ask?
@@jaket2274 because it pushes the sports forward more than everyone just staying mid pack.
@@jaket2274It can be like when Jordan got the NBA more popular.
He tore his hands up on the frames WSM use, and spent the rest of the competition in a lot of pain.

Luke Richardson is a big threat tho

Lalas should compete again 🤣
He has nerve issues etc.
Who's Lalas?
I've heard Biby is coming for the hercules hold record???
Definitely don't want anyone to get injured. That's the only way to beat Moose at the moment. I hope Trey can seal 2nd. Keep his name in the running for Rogue of someone else falls out.

Terry said recently that masters comps don't interest him. He does have a show in mind, but has to wait and see if his body will allow him to compete
I'm 3mins into the video and Vytautus is already fed up with Mitch "the alien" Hooper's shit 🤣🤣
I'm gonna say:
The Canadian alien
The ER/A&E regular
The man with the greatest last name south of the equator.
Trey can definitely push Mitch but this is a very grip heavy comp and that's his biggest (probably only) weakness. Jaco however is weak on stones, so while I think he can come 3rd, his stones may cost him a podium position.
I don't get why people hate Mitch for being too good, nobody hated Usain Bolt or other dominant athletes for it.
Why don't they give Lucas Hatman a chance?
He just won America’s strongest man for the second time and earned a giants live spot for next year.
Mitch
Trey
Luke Richardson
Kane close 4th
If Trey patches up a weakness or two, he'll be tough to beat. Great deadlifts, great dumbell and log. Etc. Heck, he's already hard to beat.
He won't be able to beat Hooper in moving events
1st Hooper
2nd Richardson
3rd Mitchell
4th Francis
Mitch is the most consistient, but not unbeatable. He's had 3yr run, hard to keep that going doing all the comps he does. Wish them all luck tonight.
Honestly I get the same vibes as you guys. Not only are we getting sick of Giants Live but theres more exciting contests next month. Especially with %$#$# Mateusz competing at the Magnus Classic. But I will still follow the contest results.
Im so over Giants live shows.
Matteusz is the man!!!
I think Mitch wins by many points. Luke R. comes 2nd and Wes comes 3rd.
I’ll go Mitch for the win, Luke Richardson 2nd and trey 3rd. I just think treys grip lets him down a bit with 2 grip events
I think the picks are right- Mitchell, Wes and Trey-
The line up is good but Mitch is head and shoulders above that field
I think it's Mitchell Hoopers to lose. He's too good now, not sure if I like it or not. As you know the nr 1 spot for every competition he turns up at. I will be watching. I must give GL credit for this lineup. Thank GOD there’s no Pa etc. who are flops on recent world stages
I hope Pa doesn’t get invited anymore unless he earns it with an OSG performance or something else. There’s too much talent these days to waste a spot on Pa

Podium
Mitch
Luke Richardson
Luke Stoltman
Of course he can be beaten, he has been beaten by Tom Stoltman at WSM 2024 this year. Brian Shaw beating Hooper at his own competition doesn’t count.
Tom is my favourite athlete, but Hooper basically fought that final with his hand cut off.
@@simenandersen3262 It still counts, it doesn’t diminish what Tom did.

Getting closer every day
Hooper knows how to dose. That's why

As much as I'm always rooting for Mitch, dammit that man needs a serious challenge. It's not normal to be this dominant.
