thanks for posting this! you have a great riding for a Beginners group I was wondering what the pace is, before I actually committed into going for my first trackday at Mettet. Seems that some people are taking it very chill and that gives me confidence that I can also participate :)
Everyone can always participate! Just join the slowest group and don't look at other people passing you, focus on your own driving and lines, and you will have an awesome time!
@@lolderdelol I can confirm! In the meantime, I’ve done two trackdays-one at Mettet and another at Spa-Francorchamps. I have to say, the METTET XP SPEED with Mertens Riding School was incredible! The organization and the people participating were fantastic. I went in with just three months of experience with a bike after getting my motorcycle license. Even though I'm 34 and have many years of experience doing trackdays with cars, I expected to be the slowest in my group due to my limited time on a motorbike. But in the end, I managed a lap time that placed me in the top half of my group's "leaderboard" by the end of the day. Not too shabby!
