Thank you Dianne, very useful video. I have some narrower fabric and was wondering how I could narrow the dress slightly but keep the fitted shape. Also, I have that pattern and now you have me thinking what fabric I have that will be enough to give it a go 🤔🤭
I got caught out with narrow fabric. It was 1 metre wide - I thought it was 45 ". and really stymied my plan for a flared skirt. I will look and see if a bit of adjustment I might do the trick. Thank you.
Hi Dianne, question..would that same principle of reducing the pattern in that way, work if you enlarged it by adding to the pattetn in the same way or would it knock pattern out of alinement ❓🥴🤔.. enjoyed the video and the dress looks great. Enjoy your week. Sudan🌸🌸🌻
Hi Susan yes you can add to the pattern to make it larger, however in that instance you can cut up the centre of the pattern pieces and either spread it out at the skirt to make it more full, or add a slim piece in the middle to size up.☺
Very pretty dress! Love your tips for saving fabric!❤
Thank you Patricia☺
Brilliant instructions thanks. Please could you tell me the pattern of the dress that you are wearing. Thank you
Hi Susana , thank you. The dress I am wearing is New look 6095. ☺

I hope it works out for you, it is so annoying when that happens. Happy sewing. ☺
