The game was played on January 16, 1976 at the Miami Orange Bowl stadium in the city of Miami, Florida, and faced the 'NFC' champion, the Dallas Cowboys and the 'AFC' champion, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The victory was the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were able to overcome a three-point deficit in the fourth quarter and prevailed 21-17, and in this way they obtained their second 'Super Bowl' title, in addition to becoming the third team to retain the title. title of champion of the 'NFL'.
