Robin Williams saying, "I'm Rainbow freaking Randolph!" always cracks me up, and the "rocketship" cookies scene is hilarious. 😂 One of my favorite movies.
Henry Rollins has a hilarious story about auditioning for the role of the boxer who loves Smoochy and does an amazing impression of Danny DeVito's physicality during it. Worth seeking out.
"Are you ok?" "I don't know. I'm kinda fucked up in general, so it's hard to gauge." Fun Fact: Roger Ebert said this was the worst movie of 2002. Art Imitates Life Fact: Michael Rispoli based his punchy boxer character on boxer turned actor "Slapsy" Maxie Rosenbloom. Ultimate Frisbee Fact: Features a shot of Catherine Keener whizzing a Frisbee at Edward Norton which is very similar to a shot in The War Of The Roses (1989) which was also directed by Danny DeVito. Casting Fact: Danny Devito and Vincent Schiavelli both made their screen debuts in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and appeared in Batman Returns (1991). Danny DeVito, Pam Ferris, and Tracey Walter are the actors in Matilda (1996). The Rest Of The Story Fact: Edward Norton kept the picture of a rhino on the wall in Sheldon's home and it hangs on his wall in real life. The spirulina and almond butter mixture Sheldon puts on his soy hot dog was actually concocted by Edward Norton in his hotel room. Comic Sans Fact: End credits, including on-screen top cast, use the Comic Sans font. Designed in 1995 by Microsoft for texts aimed at children, the font is since part of all Windows versions. Using the font made by one of USA's most capitalistic corporation and targeting children quite reflects the movie theme.
First Hamlet 2 and now Death to Smoochy. You're working your way through my favorite movies no one has seen. You should check out Let's Go To Prison and Cable Guy.
I absolutely love this movie! It’s shamefully overlooked in my opinion, because I think it’s an absolute riot. You should check out Insomnia, it was the second of three movies that Robin Williams did in 2002. Another overlooked gem, is Canadian Bacon, it was one of the last two movies that John Candy filmed before he died. And I believe the final count was 47, give or take 3.
Hey. Smoochy! I wish Edward Norton was in more comedies. Great reaction! Edit: I got to the stepdad part. I had to watch it several times. I started to cry. When the viewer, me, connects with the reactor, it’s a pretty special moment even if it’s steeped in sadness. Thanks for leaving in the real real parts.
Robin Williams was absolutely amazing. From the insanity of Death to Smoochy to his incredible performance in What Dreams May Come. The man was an incredible talent.
Happy New Year Tara, cool reaction as always, how about reacting to Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas down the road, you have a nice day 🥰❤️💋 And I appreciate your hair in a bun or sticking out
Hey Hey there Tara. Believe it or not, this is the first time I have seen this. Robin Williams was amazing. I will need to purchase the dvd. Love you and your families reaction ❤️. Have a good weekend.
I saw this in the theater. I like Robin Williams and Edward Norton, and Katherine Keener. So I knew it had to be good. A very unique comedy and one of the few Robin Williams films of him being an unstable character. One Hour Photo was his next film in 2002, that wasn't exactly his typical role. Of course, One Hour Photo isn't a comedy like this movie, but it was Williams doing something different too.
@@My-Name-Isnt-Important I enjoy the Norwegian version as well, but I’m far more partial to the 2002 version. Partly because of Robin Williams, & partly because I think it’s some of Al Pacino’s most understated acting he’s done in decades, and because I saw that version first without knowing it was an adaptation of an earlier movie.
❤This, 65yr old, once told you LOVE your reactions because watching with you and your Hubby's comments back and forth makes me feel like watching on couch with friends and My Hubby ( my Smismar...you got LOL on a comment long time ago about that) Can't wait to watch rest &&& LOL.❤Oh && LOVE Cowbell comments...as Christopher Walken says " You can never have too much Cowbell "...I got a Fever!! I was one of the few who actually sought out and watched this movie in the theaters. Loved this film ever since.
Robin Williams dancing into a brick wall is worth the price of admission.
I have always liked this movie. So many good scenes. VERY underrated
Here I thought I was the ONLY person who liked this movie. Glad to see you and so many commenters agreeing! Gives me hope in humanity!
Henry Rollins has a hilarious story about auditioning for the role of the boxer who loves Smoochy and does an amazing impression of Danny DeVito's physicality during it. Worth seeking out.
I love the moment Robin Williams walks out with the suitcase and yells "I never touched the money!!!"

Unfortunately, I will be going to an improv show tomorrow night. Should be fun.
You guys enjoy yourself!
Go in Peace and Walk with God. 😎 👍
As a (former) page layout artist and graphic designer, I absolutely loathe Comic Sans. It is the Devil's Font.
🤣🤣🤣

This is such an unknown movie.
Thank you for reacting to it in the best Tara way!
A forgotten treasure of a movie.

What a blast from the past! These are kind of excellent choices I love to see ❤❤❤
Little know movie, but one of my favorites. I'm excited!
My favorite Robin Williams movie.
I love the movie! It’s always great to see others enjoy it.
Oh my lord! I've never seen ANYBODY react to this! I absolutely love this movie, and I'm chuffed you enjoyed it
Love this movie I got it on DVD
This is one of the greatest movies ever made! I have my very own DVD. Ed Norton is my man-crush because of this movie. He could get it
Totally forgot about this one. Thanks for reminding me!
You're welcome! I think it's a hidden gem.

This film has a dark edge to children's programming but the show Happy takes that darkness up a few more notches.
I loved Happy. It’s too bad it was canceled.
We need more channels reacting to this hidden gem!
make sure to share and spread the word!
@@tarasneverseen I share all your reactions, your so crazy! ...In a great way!
This is one of my favorite Robin Williams films. You were unusually quiet.
I was processing a lot on this one but loved it

He is amazing..Robin Williams was a treasure
This is such a fun movie
Robin Williams playing an unstable Robin Williams is hands down the greatest thing in cinematic history!
I’m not sure if this Game has a Time Limit but I heard 38 Mario Coins and if that’s right “Moon Over Parador” from 1988
As a kid i saw he-man on ice in nashville

Actually, Insomnia was his next movie that year, One Hour Photo was his third movie that year.
@@SFOlson Oh yeah! I always overlook Insomnia. I prefer the original Norwegian film from 97, with Stellan Skarsgård.

Fuck yes love this hidden gem. Can't wait for this reaction.
Robin Williams directed by Danny DeVito? Yes please!!!! This movie exposed me to the amazing Peruvian singer, Yma Sumac. What a soundtrack!
This movie was real. I know I've seen it, but it's like a fever dream or cough surp buzz
Great pick....unrelated but i finally got a copy of "hollywood knights", have you ever seen that one
Tara, please consider some fantastic WW2 movies, pre 1990's. "Patton" "The Battle of Britain", "Tora Tora Tora", "Where Eagles Dare".
This movie seems to have gone shamefully low under most radars. I love it but nobody has seen it.
We do lots of underrated gems over here!
I was today years old i realuzed its my food that makes me hate everything. I rather be mad than healthy. Amen!
Happy New Year
Same to you
The black rhino is a living extinct species, only 3 males are left of the species so they are the last of there kind
