The CDL points are massive for seeding at champs. The difference between playing a decent team vs a good team in round one of champs is IMMENSELY valuable. But besides that I agree they shouldn't be celebrating the win more than one tweet where they say "we won!"

My LEAST favorite people in the CDL community are the people who can't possibly comprehend speculation or hypotheticals. If you are in a comment section like this, or tacrab you should expect some hot takes, speculation, or unique ideas. The people who get mad or refuse to contemplate over social media frustrate me because its literally the one place our community has to discuss. For example i said "pred in vivids spot on Ravens would be an upgrade in all regards" and the response i got is "preds not an AR" meanwhile ravens are running a notorious smg on AR. Community is weird sometimes when it comes to close mindedness, you dont have to agree with my take but if you cant possibly comprehend an incredibly talented player swapping roles idk what to tell ya
Was a good bit of the "Biased till I die" fan last year just because NY had come off a championship and were still a very strong team, more of the "Drop him now" fan this year. Specifically with Sib. He wasn't great last season, so I was ok with him being dropped in favor of another more consistent AR. Turns out everyone else is being dropped and he's staying, and I'm super skeptical about him being what NY is building around instead of a Hydra/Scrap core. Come to now, we're 1-3/2-4 and Sib is handily one of the worst players so far, by some metrics just straight up the worst active player in the CDL. He's also a notable reason we've not been good. If NY were just a little bit better and we could easily be at least 2-2/3-3, and it's hard to ignore the massive anchor his performance has been. At this point, either he improves drastically or NY should look elsewhere.
IMO the Scrap example is a poor one. (Btw i’m not flaming you. I genuinely enjoy your content and appreciate your contribution to the scene, just love the discussion) Heels in the league are always gonna get more hate and Scrap is a whiny lil man (like Sib). Thing is the cdl points earned in the minor won't count towards major 1 standings so Faze will prolly start in losers still.
if they win out theyll be 4-3. Even if they go 3-4 they might still sneak into that 7 or 8 seed, but losers is always possible for them still
