The tournament earnings aren’t what the visa is about. That’s a separate thing, that’s how challengers players can just come from all over. Their org (if they get a salary) is based in their country. They aren’t employed for an American company they just come here to participate in an American event. The problem lies in American based companies contracting players, that’s when you need a visa. To be contracted by an American company and being paid a salary by said company.
