YO idk if you take a critique of this or anything but it would be awesome to see on the map in front, where the ball is going, and color on the screen. So if you don't know exactly where it went on the further ones you can tell, or at least the other person can watch the ball go! :) awesome work ethic, keep up the good stuff!
@@cyrus8472 Than you haven't watched good enough, you see a "small" line of where the ball goes/is on the map you see ;) check for example 2:44 with Zurx shot

Does the dimples on the golf ball have actual physics or is it just a regular ball?
I genuinely think if rl had "mini games" like this available to everyone, the game would be in such a better place. Bigger streamers could hop on the game and not be so mechanically held back, and many more people would discover the game.
Even just in customs, i agree, psyonix truly be sleeping on the opportunity

I think their should be more to do in general if leth can make all these maps and modes then the devs should be able to come out with waaaaay more content than they do

If RL had games like this that were community made (and tested before release for bugs lol) the game would bring in so many more players and be a ton of fun. I can't wait to see this map with the rest of Leth's crew. Great job on the map!

I work at topgolf. You did a great job! The main topgolf game scores similar where the closer to the center you are, the more points.
I also work at a TG Venue. The way this seems to be set up is like the final portion of a hole on the virtual course when on par. It is accurately done and very nicely made. I hope to try this map at some point

I love top golf so I’m excited for this video
I see this on my recommended and I just wanna say I love it. I’ve only been to top golf once when I was like 11 with my older brothers and one of their friends. It was cool. I was obviously the worst lmao 💀 I still had fun. We got to get some food over there, they have waiters?? Some people that check up on you and stuff. They have this QR code on the table that you were assigned to and you can just order on there. Overall top golf was really fun and this video was too!

Very cool map!
However i think it would be more fun if the numbers only changed after both having shot. That way its less RNG of getting easy 100s and more of skill. Since both would have the same shots
Leth you gotta do this again but with zurx coconut rapid and make it a team game to best of 1000.

Not sure if its possible, but if you could add a trail on the map that tracks the ball after its been hit, that would be amazing🔥
The ball does show up on the map, but it's very small.

Top golf is so sick even if u don't hit it in the holes it's still very fun trying to or if u get mad u can just whack it an absolute mile its so much fun

Leth, I wanna see you do this again, but if you could make the holes a mystery number. So you wouldn’t know how many points you would get. What if there were negative points?
As someone who loves going to Top Golf, this is legit dude. Epic Games needs to take notes.
Love all of your custom maps but this is definitely one of the coolest things I’ve seen on RL!
Just one tip - change the values every round instead of every turn. That way each player has the opportunity to try the same shot and possibly keep the score even but it still doesn’t allow someone to gain the same value every time by perfecting the mechs for it.
i just went to top golf and this is exactly like it GREAT vid and always watch every vid I wish i could play these maps but i play on switch so... yeah but the vids are just as good

I need a PC now. All of these maps that Leth has been making/showing off are some of the dopest things I've ever seen. And also, I think a good comeback mechanic would be that 500 is the goal number, but the other players have a one shot redemption but they have to hit the score line. So basically if they can't hit 500 in the next shot, they're out.
Cant wait to see what suprises Leth has got in store . Love the content keep it up!

Love hearing you work on the map, while playing it.
So I actually work at Topgolf and one of our biggest draws is our Top tracer screens that track your shot. Maybe show the trajectory of the ball during the hits on the screen in the back?
I’ve done Topgolf, and you could of made another ring around the targets for 1/3 points, and you can have a super far hard shot for guaranteed 75 points. Other then that, it’s perfect. Keep up the good work leth!
Don't know if it's possible, but a moving updated "dot" on the board above would be neat. It'd make it easier to see where the ball is going based on how you shot it. Or even a blip when the ball does land would also work.
Otherwise a cool map Leth!

This is very cool! No idea the of the effort it would take. But having the option to have spin effect the ball would be fun. Allowing the ball to maybe bounce once before it's considered a miss. And randomizing the back 3 targets between 50, 80, and 100. Then, the front 3 would randomize 10, 20, and 40. Might balance out risk vs reward. Anyways, amazing content!
Now just add some bots serving drink and appetizer toppers and you have the true Top Golf experience. 😅

I've only gone in once myself, and the only thing missing is a tiny slot in the back for the most points.
I give this map a 9/10
The booths are accurate, but I remember on the side how it showed you where it went.
There were also maybe 4 rings, and a stand for the golf clubs, but those you don't need in rocket league
not gonna lie this should definitely be a rocket league gamemode if not then a LTM or maybe just a custom match option to play with your friends

Lethamyr I live all these different games that you have put into RL. These look so fun to play. I wish these would be accessible on console. Have you thought about putting Heatseeker in the Dunk house? I think that would be a fun arena to play heatseeker in.

This is a great idea for a map, looks super fun. I know how the map works and how you designed it but if you wanted to improve it making the ball bounce like 2 or 3 times or give so many seconds after the first bounce would be better. Also be really cool if you could see the ball travel on map you have there. Idk if this is possible and know it would be a lot more work but just saying if you wanted to improve it. Still really good and cool map.
I thought about that but "coding" that in RL would be nearly impossible, both aspects. Definitely good ideas but I can't even begin to imagine how that would be done without new unique classes in RL

Rocket leaque needs to bring leth in and have some of the stuff like this become an actual thing.
Leth on his own has created more maps and fun modes then the entire rocket leaque dev team during its history.
Hey one thing you could do, on the big screen right when someone hits the ball change the screen to a camera mode so they can see the ball flying in the air from a top view so they can see the long distance shots better

Amazing! But when I went if you hit the back wall you would get points so maybe add 50 points if you make the ball go out of the map would be cool.
Suggestion: Make the ball indicator on the minimap at the back more obvious. You can see where the ball is going on the map but it's really small and making it bigger would be a huge QOL improvement, I feel.
If this was in the game regular for everyone, 15 person party having an absolute hoot!
Suggestions:
- Every shot you take, even if you miss, should show the replay so you can gauge how far off you are for the holes that are harder to see from where you start
- Gauge the half/full score based on the percentage the ball is in the area of each ring when it hits the goal trigger
I originally had replays for 0 points and it was awfully slow to watch every goal/reset. As far as percentage goals, that's an Unreal Engine 5 feature haha, no shot I attempt that in UE3! But good suggestions
@@Lethamyr ah interesting, yeah probs a good point from a UX perspective on the replays.
For the percentage goals, I figured you'd have the ability to script a calculation for the distance of the ball from the center of the goal to get a more accurate idea of if you actually hit a 100 vs a 50

Yeah without being able to add classes to RL (like a staticmesh that allows for contact counting) I don't see how this could be done
@@Lethamyr yeah I thought that might be the case tbh, I don't think there is a way to make an invisible floor vanish on contact from the ball either, either way, you already have an awesome concept in this map and my friends are gonna be playing it 100% when it released, even thought of a drinking game for it 😁

leth your maps look so great and so fun and i hope you dont stop any time soon also i would like to give you an idea for a map
i thought a fun 3 vs 3 floor map where you have 3 floors with 1 person in each floor making it like a 1v1 and there are different themes for each floor and the ball goes through the ceiling and the floor and then the objective is to get it through each floor and hit the ceiling once then score in each floor going from the top goal to the bottom and the floors are all add up to the max height you can of course any modifications to make it better and i think the only big issue is that when the ball isnt with you its quite boring to watch and wait.

hi leth I've been playing the new LTM and I'm getting more confidant with my aerials (I've hit some great shots) couldn't have amazed myself like that without taking some tips from you!

I think it might be fun to have a free for all mode where you can bump and demo your opponent. Trying to score while dealing with an opponent in that small area would be hectic and so much fun to watch.
Another Adition to the idea. Combing my above idea and what Zuurk said. Code in the other Tee offs as play areas. Then you can do 2v2 or 3v3, but they're all technically 1v1s.

****VIDEO IDEA!!****You should use this map with 4 people and play in teams, each team gets two tries (1 try each player on a team) And whatever team gets the most points (obv) wins! (I hope you use this idea). Have a good day everyone!

Hey leth huge fan!!! I had a great idea for this map. If you could make the floor drop shot, and if you could mirror that map above to the course it would display on the map where the ball landed. Don't know if that would be possible, but it would be and awesome addition....

What about having the lowest scores random but on the closest holes and the highest three random on the furthest? This way you avoid free 100s but the meta you were worried about can't set place :)
Could you give the player the option to dribble the ball as well to the target? Feels like a fun way to add a training layer to it if the player wanted to do it. LOVE this map.
I think the 100 should cycle in the back 3.
You could also make it where ppl dont have a barrier and could air dribble it as air dribble practice

If the board on the back is to scale it would be cool if you could project some sort of coloured shadow from the ball to indicate how close your shot actually was

I'd recommend making the titantron ball bigger and darker so you can see. Is it also possible to add a camera button that shows the hole positions better without having to drive up to the front? Maybe a camera on the barrier that stops the car but above the car and out of the way.
i like how every time after the opponents shot they go backwards to line up then roll forwards again so they can see it instead of just waiting for the points to spawn lmao

Would you be able to have the mini map thing track your shot so you can have that Birds Eye view I think that would be sick or could you make it a Timmy bit bigger don’t know if if good when you play the game but it’s kinda hard to see on the video
For the team one you should do a round where you have to team pinch it
It would be dope if they added something like this.. but to make it better. It would be cool if you had the ball be displayed on the screen after it’s been shot so it can feel more like top golf
If you do a teams version of this, you should add another hole that can only be reached by a team pinch
