Not sure if someone has suggested yet but thought it worth mentioning, the jockey wheel should face towards the car and or van, like the wheel is driving forward this also help it not want to spear off to the side. Hope this help you a little 👌🏼😊👍
Guys to help with the tension on your hitch. When you have chocked your van before unhooking get back in your car put the car in neutral with handbrake off and the car should settle a bit taking tension off your hitch. Then car handbrake back on and in park. When you unhitch it should not spring off so much. Works for us.
Should of bought a landcruiser bro, they have a button that lowers the airbags for lower trailer hook-ups. Don't you have a reversing camera on the y62? Doesn't the caravan have a brake so when u un hook it shouldn't roll away
@@thatfalzonfamilyoh ok that's good bro. I wondered if it did as she's a flash wagon! Yeah true. Better to be safe than sorry I guess. You guys having a blast? Something I've wanted to do with the kids for a long time 🤘
Loved this vid! Roc sure is living his best life. So are the kiddos & you guys. Hard work has paid off & you've both accomplished & learned so much. Just awesome. As I say you guys are the 'Dream Team'👌💝
Loving your adventures ❤I use exercise bands there light weight and you can get a good workout 🏋️♀️ The washing machines use a lot of water I have a short 28 min cycle I do when off grid it uses about 25 litres but I found a great trick we pull into a town with water near a park or beach fill the tanks do some quick loads and then refill the tanks again 🤙💕💕
Evening Falzon Fam, lovely to have another video and keeping it real. I love that Rocco is having his best time and you’re right, in that you’ll asses each place you go to, with what he can or can’t do, it’s a balance. We will be travelling with our little schnauzer and like you, it’s not even a question of him not coming. We’re quite prepared to miss out on places that don’t take dogs, he’s a part of our family. Lol Luke your exercises- you made us laugh, lucky Alex !! Till the next video, have a good one. Alexandra (yep great name hey!)
Love these new van videos, despite a few A-🍩 comments. Your getting to know how to 'live' in the van altogether 🏆. An essential many underestimate. You've got a big audience out here wishing you all the best.😊
Hey guys, buy yourself a water bladder for the rear floor well, won’t interfere with anything. We have a 110ltr and then transfer into the van. Keep up the great vids, cheers
Go for the BOS jockey wheel. You just operate it with your drill. Get the longer 3 lug unit. It will be fine for your vans height. I went for the BOS mainly because it doesn't need electrics. The area up there gets flogged by rocks, dust and every thing else and you don't need anymore things that can go wrong.
Try letting your van settle before you unhook, chock van wheels and hand break off on van, then put car in neutral that should also take a bit of pressure off the hitch as well ,and when you finally get sick of those leveling ramps haha have a look at bos stablilisers legs so much easier, there even strong enough to lift the van on one side to change a flat tyre, nice vid guys
The thermometer for the diesel heater is in the controller, so if your controller is lower to the floor, the temp is going to be much hotter at roof, or head height and will be super hot getting the controller to 20 degrees. Set it to 10 or 12 degrees and see how it feels. Keep going down in temp on the controller until the temperature is comfortable.
Hey guys, when putting the van on the car, it’s it’s a smig left or right u can twist the coupling so it will slide on the hitch, I have the same one, u will get used to adjusting the coupling so it will slide on. The van may move a bit but it’s ok cause it will slide onto the hitch no problem
What is the best time of year to go to Ningaloo Reef? Mid-March to August are the best months to see the whale sharks, but you'll also have a fantastic time in the off-peak months, too. Turtles nest and hatch from November through to March, and dolphins, dugongs, and manta rays can be seen year-round. As we approach xmas it is WAY TO HOT to visit the top . In fact most people move south for xmas because of the heat. You need to be booking a place to stay. For the holiday's. 40 - 43 ° c average. Inland is worse 45 ish. Yuk. People head down to Bunbury or Brusselton way. Is nice. Then head north for winter. Have you got air bags on your car. If so when you go to load up the van LET THE AIR BAGS DOWN.
watching you backing up to the van gave me anxiety. alex when luke is backing up get used to saying left hand down or right hand down. because by you saying go right it actually turns the car left. and just go alot slower whilst reversing that way your not going back and forth 100 times
I follow that channel as well. That was a very upsetting episode. Glad the dog was ok, but I didn’t know they spent that much. Such a hard decision to make, not everyone would have that much money.
Hey guys I think your doing a great job so far despite comments like above. All I can say if you don’t like it don’t watch it no one’s forcing you too. If you can think you can do a better job then go right ahead and let everyone else watch it to critique it. Anyways keep the videos coming 👍Ps there’s always going to be armchair critics or keyboard warriors happens everywhere guys

And we always leave the chains on and take them off last. So if it does swing the chains will stop it. We found out the hard way.
ok thank you I will try that next time good idea

the y62 has a camera bro but its hard to judge, the hand brake on the van I feel it its not that good

Can i offer one piece of advice.....always put your step away before moving off. Personal experience on this one cheers Mark
yeah I forgot to put it up but I did later one cheers mate
I also highly recommend the black jacks. Very easy to use and would match the van and car perfectly

Your glamping in town 😂😂😂

Hey guys your content is so good keep up the great effort
Black jack is the best that we have for our van but it up to you Luke and Alex
we are decking in the BOS one what do you think?

cheers brother
love the vids brother keep it up and cant wait for you to go out on the boat i wached every single vid from this and the other channel
cheers brother the vids on (Luke Falzon)are coming back very soon :)
Bos jockey wheel. Can’t beat it. Should be able to get an attachment to connect to your drill for winding up/down. Makes life 10times easier👌🤣

Put extra blocks of timber under your jockey wheel before you start winding, that way you will less winding up and down.
yes I have to but its ok I'm getting the BOS one what do you think?
When we use our heater we have both windows open in the kitchen to let out some heat get a jack and give the jocky wheel the flick they are useless.
why do you open the window in the kitchen? yes we are getting a BOS one
@@thatfalzonfamily The diesel heater gets too hot so a open window helps to keep it at the right temp in the van.
The old Aussie salute for when the Flies are bugging you.
lol
We have the BOS wouldn’t be without it. Get the extender with it, but life is so much easier
we are getting the BOS but I dont no if we have the extenders I will look into that
Get the Boss jacks as well then no need for ramps best investment ever. You can level your van from these jacks
The thermometer for the diesel heater is in the controller, so if your controller is lower to the floor, the temp is going to be much hotter at roof, or head height and will be super hot getting the controller to 20 degrees. Set it to 10 or 12 degrees and see how it feels. Keep going down in temp on the controller until the temperature is comfortable.
that makes so much sense thank you
I can put the temp down but the heater wont come on we don't no if it is a good heater or not

The controller down low is in the wrong place as heat rises and the thermostat is reading a much lower temperature.
thats whats every one is saying ummm

@@thatfalzonfamily efin 🔥 🥵
Try driving up your ramps when levelling stops the rolling forward to the car.
Try one of the folding clothes lines. Game changer
Alex just said she needs one lol thank you
Black jacks I’ve got one on my van haven’t had a problem
BOS!!! Life saver ( just make sure you get the extenders
what are they?
The handle came of the jockey wheel ?🤔
I wonder if a cordless drill could be attached 🤔
Heres hoping 🤞
we are getting a BOS jockey wheel
@@thatfalzonfamily wicked, cant wait to see how that goes 👍
Can I ask why you reverse back on to the ramps?
Normally you drive onto the ramps
We either drive onto or reverse onto depending on the slope of the land where we are
Get a black jack trust me it’s so helpful
we are getting the BOS
Better sleep in the cool. Heat the van for the evening, but leave the heater off overnight.
cheers thank you
Put out your awing and get a peggless line for your washing

When off grid : When washing only a 15 min quick wash :Less water
ok thank you
our quick wash is 28 mins
You guys are cashed up. Replace your coil caravan suspension with air suspension. Levelling is as easy as pressing a button
They are already handicapped by having coil springs in the tow vehicle, they don't need to make an unfortunate situation worse.
Hey Alex how u guys goin
Living like kings just spent 9&1/2 grand on there dog for a snake bite 😬

really I hope he's ok is he ok?
@@thatfalzonfamily yep the dog is fine now, but looks like there funds have taken a big hit and don't think they can keep going on
