- IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!
Total, the creator of SMZ3, has done it.
He up-ported Zelda 1 and Metroid 1 from the NES to the SNES
and combined them with SM and LTTP to make the first ever QUAD RANDO.
It's still in the very early stages of development but these are some of the first seeds with all 4 games and item randomization.
I'll be doing a lot of playtesting for it, so you get to look forward to that soon :) - บันเทิง
Someday there will be a Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons and Link's Awakening rando and I can't wait for that world.

Ok...we made ALTTP rando....and super metroid rando...heck we even combined them. NOW there is a amazing super metroid co-op...and now....now we have this?. This is starting to feel....unnatural.....did anyone ever think just because we can doesnt mean we should? 😲

A wii randomizer iso with:
- ocarina of time
- majora's mask
- wind waker
- twilight princess
- monster hunter tri (mission rewards and conditions in other games to advance rank)
- pandora's tower (boss drop)
- rune factory frontier (drops and rewards)
- rune factory tides of destiny/oceans (drops and rewards)
- xenoblade (unique monsters drops and conditions in other games to advance and to face the final boss)
It would be a real hellish challenge to complete it.
Honestly, upporting NES Zelda 1 and NEStroid(Differenciating because those are originally downports from FDS, which are seperate versions) to make them lag less is already a W on its own. And according to the chat, "Z2 is doable"? Sign me up. I wish Kirby's Adventure could get that too, lol.

Oh god... a quad rando?! I can see myself playing this once it's released to the public as a way to free my stress from work and other IRL stuff, I bet if this ends up supporting crowd control it will be a pain in the gut to complete with a lot of potential sabbotages yet at the same time a joy.

I can't wait to see the Enemizer of this quad-game, and see Andy battle SM Kraid as Z1 Link.
Although the difference between the NES and SNES items can be seen via 8-bit vs 16-bit graphics, in the heat of the moment, I worry that it may still be confusing. I feel a simple 1 or 3 in the item's upper left might make it more obvious without causing issues.

Holy crap! has this been released? As far as I can tell it has not yet. If you get it working, I bet Cubear and I from the Zeldix community would attempt a MSU-1 Patch for it (i will have to ask her when you finish).

I'm curious how the NES games were ported to SNES... the 65C816 CPU is backward compatible, but audio/video/controller stuff is completely different and would have to be emulated, right?
From what was said long ago, Total basically re-coded both NES games into SNES ROMs to be able to have them all run on hardware and combine
