    love this radio, I often take my long range quad out to 2.5 - 3km and always have full control.

    Just picked up this Futaba radio in addition to my DX6E. So I'm a little behind but also really getting ahead.

    Nice ground station case, almost as nice as my old repurposed VHS Japan Panasonic case. LOL!

    nice work, good job. does the camera have an option for an external microphone? it would be cool if you could incorporate a telescopice mic into the body of the plane, probably pointing back and down to eliminate the motor and wind noise....?

    WOW!!! That's like 2 1/2 mile range. That pretty awesome! How far of range do you think a JR 12X has? That's what I fly with. Awesome video Ali..!!!! 2👍👍

    What receiver do you use to get that range?futaba or frsky receivers?
    What is the exact range for safe flying with the futaba tfhss's radio?

    Ali, need help here since you're using Futaba also, I just can't get the fail safe ( Low Thr RTH ) works, I tried at home unplug the main battery ( for motors ) but power for the AP and the Futaba RX. I've set the AP ( MFD ) Low Thr RTH at 960us, and I tried to turn off the Futaba TX, on my ground station's monitor , it still show MAN / STB mode, nothing had changed nor any servos moment ....am I missing something ? many thanks for yr help !

    What do you recommend for FPV quadcopter flying? Taranis x9D plus or Futaba T10J?

  • @blackmennewstyle
    @blackmennewstyle 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    4.2KM with your stock Futaba T8J!
    Holy crap, what did you put inside your radio control, some chinese plutonium lol
    Very nice job Ali :)

    • @rotormasher
      @rotormasher 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      T10J... :) and I wonder if the chinese market sold futabas have less rang RF restrictions or something?...

    • @blackmennewstyle
      @blackmennewstyle 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      rotormasher Oh yes you are right! This thing just looks like so much the T8J, it trapped me lol
      It's highly possible these radios in China have less range RF restrictions :)

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      rotormasher yes in China no restrictions, so Futaba Radios for China have more RF power.

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ABMNS PRODUCTION T10J is exactly the same thing as T8J. just probably a little more features i would say. It has a dedicated Multirotor programming section now :D so other radios have Plane, Heli, Glider, This one has Plane, Heli, glider and Multirotor Programming categories. But for power wise, I believe a T8J will do the same distance in the open. In ZHuzhou City I barely can go 2.5km using same radio

      @blackmennewstyle 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      alishanmao You are not interested by the way by one of these Taranis radios?

    Nice plane, but why they keep making planes without landing gear????? And on top of that, they don't even make their belly out of something resistant instead of EPO foam. One is going to screw up the plane on every landing...that would be like landing on sand paper...

    • @SnapPunchRobert
      @SnapPunchRobert 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. Love the plane but Need Landing gear.
      I wonder if the bottom could be coated with liquid

    • @DutchRC
      @DutchRC 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are just landing on gras, that EPO bottum will last quite a long time.. But I would put some tape or something on it as well..

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      DutchRC ADVENTURES we did put double triple layers of tapes on it. later I will install some real hard plastic. for now i have two little landing gear wheels that will protect the bottom, only under rear area it touches the ground where I will install another wheel too

    • @DutchRC
      @DutchRC 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      alishanmao Personally, I wouldn't bother with wheels.. 99% of the flight it is just dead-weight.. A bit of epoxy and glass-fiber on the bottom?
