So the Nexon has better looks, better refinement, better drive, better steering, better infotainment system, better handling and better space. But people will not buy it. Because it is still a Tata! I really wish Tata does something to address their brand name issue!

It's really simple formula . Put up shots of humongous number of service stations . And with that many passenger cars across the country , putting up huge number of service stations ( specially in metro cities ) shouldn't be problem for TATA . That's a simple Mantra every INDIAN looks for . Service network .

Tata never compromise with safety of it's buyer,so one can switch over to Desi brand,be Indian buy Indian,simple advice from my side.
Maruti is also Indian brand.
A well informed buyer will never buy Maruti its build quality is so compromised its feel like cheating.
Tin light body structure, poor quality of materials.
only thing it has mileage.
Nexon is way better its cabin looks classy and design is something which will grows over the time.

Rupesh Aswal, Maruti has far better service spread but I have had quite a few bad experience with Maruti service. Two of our vehicle to be honest. I am ofcourse talking about one particular service center not all, The guys there apologize and but but result is same. Issues are not fixed after repeated visits. Our 14 year old petrol Indica has a different story. After fitting LPG, the car literally had issues every week and no Tata Service center could fix knocking/ mileage issue. But once we got rid of it, it butter smooth. Issue with Tata has always been quality consistency and arrogant behavior of staff. But over the years it has changed quite a bit, in a good way

Anil bro, sorry to say but car is not just about looks ! I also was almost about to buy xz plus but saw that the vehicle was not up to the mark in terms of exterior paint finish and some spots and marks in the interiors were visible and it looked like some work had been done and hence I didn't buy from Tata. At last the manager accepted that it was his fault and that they had NOT DONE PDI. So I Got from Maruti instead and gifted myself peace of mind! In my case the dealer who was trying to sell a refurbished model of Nexon is SSmotogen Dhanbad. Request everyone to stay away from that dealer and also Tata cars who allow such people in the system. Shame on Tata, you are good for dealing with trucks n autos , you don't know anything about customer service, they didn't even take any action against the dealer. If this is the condition of service while buying a car-you can imagine what is the condition post sales. Do yourself a big favour and stay away from Tata cars. The biggest feature in a car is peace of mind , and ,trust me, Tata can't provide it.

Tata is reviving from it's bad phase. Brand is gaining many positive feedbacks. Earlier everyone said they're building truck like cars. Now if you listen to the video Renuka said it's more car like.. Being zest owner for last 3yrs I must say tata improved a lot. No niggles, absolutely worry free.. service is really good.. look at Tiago and Hexa, they're classy products. Tiago is selling more than 7k monthly. Now Nexon is already a winner and cash registers will start ringing. Don't listen to any bad mouths.. Ask guys who own latest Tata cars and buy Nexon.. None will say a bad comment. We have an Indian brand trying to get back it's lost charm. Being Indians we need to offer some support.

I have owned a Tata for 7 years and I always had to explain people why I made that choice. Well why wouldn't you? They make practical, powerful and strong cars. The best part about Tata cars is that the products are not overpriced, unlike Maruti, which fleeces the customer and makes them pay extra for the brand. The review covered almost all the points, would have also liked to know how the Harman 8 speaker audio system delivers, in the Nexon...I've heard it's pretty impressive.

You always feel safer in a Tata compared to Maruti. Maruti just shedding kilos to juice out more from that last drop of fuel. Tata is always a robust build. I own a Vista and had done 1.4 Lac km, without any problem. And some people comment on Tata quality. 🤔
I too own a vista 2012 make.. driven for 55k KMs ..here are the problems occured
1.AC compressor replacement@5000km
2.clutch slave cylinder replacement@20k kms
3.oil cooler replacement@18k kms
3.EGR replacement@22k KMs
4.clutch slave cylinder replaced again @38k kms
5.AC cooling coil replacement@ 40k KMs

Oh hell yeah... it's the beast in the curvy clothing that beats the sheep in wolf's clothing to death... I've driven the Nexon and every bit it's a premium car over the boxy and very old looking brezza...

Now the regime of Maruti Suzuki is going to over, Tata done a great job and if Tata gives a competitive pricing to Nexon than it will be a nail to Maruti's coffin.

NEXON is a winner in every aspect . Brezza sucks in slopes. 108ps power is more than enough in mein where as brezza has only 89 ps .

Everyone will talk about tata but no one will buy it. People act as if other cars don't have problems. Google and go to any page of any car that has problems , grievances and experience listed, you'll know the truth. Everybody talks so highly of HONDA but in my experience they are currently the worst in India in terms of service & maintenance. Even Mahindra does a better job. I'hv had lots of cars and the one thing I'hv learnt is, look for a better product first, brands fuck anyway in India coz there are no proper rules & regulations.
Tata motors is on a stairway to heaven. Better buy Tata motors shares while the price is still low

I'm a baleno user but if i had to choose between brezzza and nexon, nexon is a class ahead.
hope ecosport isn't that good this time, really want nexon to taste the success it deserves, they are working hard i want them to exist and grow.
Agree with you baleno sheet metal quality is very bad.. don't feel confident while driving.. I also own Baleno.. easily gets dent with even on fingers pressed hardly

Nexon is indeed a great one compared with Brezza. I hope at least now Indian buyers should let go the tin cans and start looking out for other options.
Nexon in a way seems a very competitive product by TATA, of course all of their new products are well built, loads of features, great ride quality and most importantly value for money.
This is great time for TATA to rise up and capture the market.

Don't call nexon an xuv it is like hatchback on steroids. The only cars that can be called xuv in this segment is brezza and xuv300

Highway 25.5 kmpl 50 to 60 speed 5 th gear. Good mileage brezza

You barely talked about interiors where Nexon is light-years ahead & Fit & finish of the Nexon is miles ahead than the brezza. Still the way you highlighted at the end of the review still indirectly suggests that brezza has good fit & finish. Overall satisfied and unbiased.
We would like to buy new Tata Nexon Petrol version car.But we confusing which variant is worth to buy XT or XM.Will it give good milage and is it fuel efficient car.
I think if priced correctly it will swallow the competition much like ecosport. As always brilliant comparison.

Nowadayas , Maruti has engaged themselves in weight loss strategy. They are targeting towards 'Leaner meaner and fitter' concept. Though this strategy helps them in achieving high fuel efficiency number, the recent cars like Dzire 2017, baleno and even Brezza are not stable at high speeds. Maruti is more keen in posting high FE numbers . That is why are able to churn out 27kmpl for their Dzire , when the Fiat who is the original engine owner is struggling to achieve 23kmpl for their punto cars. The same is the case with Brezza.
I have driven both Brezza Zdi and Ecosport Tdci on the highways. With Ecosport i am able to do comfortably 140kmph at 4 lane highways, Whereas Brezza feels unstable and wavy at such speed. The steering control is also more lighter in Maruti and they have gone the Hyundai way. Ford Steering is absolutely amazing. Even the Tiago is much better in handling when compared to Maruti latest cars.

I have booked Tata nexon KRAZ(P) in 26th December 2018 By paying Rs.11000/- at Marina motors KozhikodeKerala.Also paid the first EMI to Bank.But unfortunately So far no response to the queries about the delivery of vehicle. The dealer is in dark. A complaints registered with tata customer care. They are also help less. When i asked for the specific date ASM says by 10th Feb 2019 will come to know whether this model build or not? ! Someone help.
Hi, I'm planning to buy a car somewhere around 10lac and I'm little confused on which to go, brezza(diesel - mid variant) or nexon(petrol).
I heard that nexon pick up for petrol engine is very low and also fuel efficiency is very low. Is that true? Bcoz I'm not able to find any real time review.
And we are planning to keep the car for not less than 6 to 7 years.

Why depend on others.... just go for a test drive, evaluate the car and decide.
I think Nexon is winner. With added safety ABS, EBD, independent rear shocks, 125 kg heavier, more torque and power. 30k cheaper on entry level Diesel variant. Style is also great. Final verdict ask yourself, is milage and resale value more important then your life and comfort ??? If yes go for Brezza.
Maruti is maruti (fact)... and based on Indians follow sheep mindset if Tata Nexon hit the sweet spot with few thousand buyers bcoz of word of mouth it could eventually pick up after 4-5 months of sale... let's see gonn b very interesting I AM STILL WAITING FOR FORD ECOSPORT :)

Looks like with their pricing below competition, Tata seems to have blown the bugle! Now we need to see how the market reacts with its purse! Tata is on a roll with modest to good sales of all the new products, they are able to create some excitement and bring better products. If the myths many of them not very flattering, about the After Sales Service are broken, it has got on a good path of growth and profitability! Hope the pipeline for new products is maintained. The next winner must be a Safari Storme replacement eagerly waited by many!!

Finally Tata is ticking the right boxes with its passenger segment cars but really need to do something about the brand identity! Safety of a Tata car can never be matched by Maruti.

Maruti's quality of built is very bad, feels so weak and vulnerable. Only thing good about Brezza is its handsome exterior and Maruti's service network. Nexon is a superior car.

What to do with
Only the price range are similar. Nexon is a 1.5 LTR, 110 bhp car with 6 gears and multiple drive modes. Interior, features, entertainment are way ahead. Please don't loss the value of Nexon by comparing it again and again with "Maruti" brezza. Please find a good opponent like S-cross or Eco-Sport.

Coasting a car in neutral does not save fuel. The ECU of all cars shuts of the fuel injectors when the brakes are applied even if the clutch is engaged. At this point it is the inertia from wheels that drives the engine. Engine braking saves fuel better.
That looked like a fair judgement..I beleive in tata and booked a Nexon to go Full desi...Please dont prove me wrong TATA...
Book nexon.. Tata will assure peace of mind... Get gold amc as well.. No other car manufacturer offers such thing in India as other manufacturers knows that product is created with compromise and parts business is better than selling car

Muhammed Ijas... Nexon is good product.. As far as post sales service is concerned... Tata is 2nd best as per JD power Asia survey. Also Tata is only manufacturer who provides amc which covers all car parts also wear n tear parts.. So they trust their engineering..

Vinod Bhoir... Maruti salesman always tells about good resale price of their cars.. But compare resale price of tata cars of same year same month w.r.t. Maruti then u will find that the cost of of ownership and maintenance and resale value of tata is better

I am pretty impressed with nexon, at least specs wise coz price is not released yet. I m interested in buying the diesel version, but the running of car is not very often for me. Sometimes it stay in parking for a period of like 10-15 days. Is it advisable for me to buy diesel version? Or should I go for Petrol version. I have more inclination towards diesel.
Abhishek Vishal latest diesel engines are really efficient... If u want to buy diesel go for it... But once td the petrol as well..
