I used to play this in the car, driving home from work. My buddy, who only liked dutch folksongs, looked at me as if I was crazy 😂 "Really Pete? You like this kinda stuff?". Yep, I love it.😜 Rush live in Holland, I was there. Verry good performance. Thanks sweet Faye, loved this one. 💪😁👍❤️
Another song from Caress Of Steel that you may enjoy is Lakeside Park, a song that Neil wrote about a place in his childhood home of Port Dalhousie on Ontario's Niagara peninsula, bringing back memories of a much simpler time; today, the original Lakeside Park is home to a picnic pavillion named in his memory, which I recently had the privilege of visiting, and plans are underway to erect a pair of statues in his honour. Have a beautiful day, and Rush on! 🎤 🎸 🥁 🎸 🐐 🐐 🐐
Rush! Classic. One of the finest bands to get together. They have a pretty decent sized catalogue with a lot of cool sounds. When you talk about Rush, you can talk about the epics (2112, Cygnus X-1 books 1 and 2, The Necromancer, Fountain of Lamneth, Natural Science, Xanadu) or you can talk about the hits (Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio, YYZ, Freewill, Red Barchetta, Limelight, Clockwork Angels to toss a modern one in there), but if you end up becoming a big fan, you'll be talking about the deep cuts haha. If you want something somewhat adventurous I'd recommend On A Perfect Day by Spock's Beard. If you want something that's a truly mind boggling journey, I'd recommend Close to the Edge by Yes. There is a really good visualizer video on youtube for Close to the Edge by Igor Kovtun that I highly highly highly recommend to really get you engrossed in the song.
le 14 juillet , la fête nationale French National Day is the anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789,a major event of the French Revolution, as well as the Fête de la Fédération that celebrated the unity of the French people on 14 July 1790. Celebrations are held throughout France. Thats what the song is written about. ❤️❤️❤️ 🇫🇷 🙂
Ha Ha Ha I laughed when I saw the title ! I thought Oh she's not gonna like this, probably not the kind of music you would listen to. Anyways you're a good sport ! This goes way back to 1975, Rush's 3rd album, and 2nd with the great drummer Neil Peart. Please continue, they have something like 167 songs.
